    Can we really afford to keep Weeks in the leadoff spot while he struggles like this? He just looks absolutely lost at the plate 95% of time.

    If the Indians think we're gonna add Hardy or Escobar along with LaPorta and Green, they are nuts. If we could pull off LaPorta, Green, and Axford for Sabathia, I would be fine with that.

    Same here. Maybe we could do a Weeks or Hardy/Salome deal to get Sabathia. Throw in some low-level prospects if need be.

    Would it make sense to include Hardy in a deal to acquire Sabathia? I think Escobar could come right in and do a fine job at short. I think if we included Hardy in the deal, then the chances of having to include Gamel or LaPorta decrease.

    Weeks is batting .215 and Cameron .217 - Absolutely unacceptable.

    Braun looked pretty silly there. Would have been nice to move Hardy over to third. And then Fielder pops out.

    The idea of losing Gamel - and still missing the playoffs - keeps me up at night. That is my quote from the CC Thread last night around 9:45. I can't tell if you are mocking me - or it is an incredible coincidence that you posted your message directly after mine. Nope, not mocking you. I haven't read the CC thread since yesterday afternoon. But that's kind of funny.

    Gamel and LaPorta are precisely the two players most likely to be traded (though perhaps not together). Who did you think the Brewers were going to use to acquire a Sabathia-level talent? It's just a personal preference, but at this point, I'd rather trade Fielder than Gamel or LaPorta.
