A trade with the Cardinals is about the last thing I expected other than trading with the Cubs of course. Both guys are rentals FYI. -

I haven't seen anything too crazy yet unless I missed something? Feels like it's been pretty reasonable prices for the buyers so far. -
We owe the Pirates some payback. It would be nice if the top of the lineup shows up.

They ended up giving up 70 runs in 6 games this week, which is good for almost 12 runs per game. That's not easy to do.

I think you can strike a good balance between being stupidly overaggressive like Preller and being ultra conservative like Matt Arnold. That is what I would want in my GM, anyway.

The Pirates have been really scuffling lately but the Brewers apparently are their cure to stop a losing streak.

Just too many offensive duds lately and very unlikely we trade for a bat. The top of the order has got to get it going or we are screwed.

Chourio has at least shown some flashes lately but Contreras is just brutal right now. He is killing our offense.

Couple things: 1. If Miz gives up another HR on a cutter, I'm going to lose my mind. 2. Our offense has no chance today unless Urena walks in a bunch of runs. 3. Contreras stinks right now. 4. Make a damn trade.

Urena can be tough be he also walks a lot of guys, which the Brewers excel at. Just need to come up with some big hits with RISP.
