  1. With an off day on Thursday, wouldn't we just play the make up game then?
  2. A rainout would be the absolute best thing to happen to this team right now.
  3. "I can get us a rainout." "It's 90 degrees, there ain't been a cloud in the sky in weeks." "Hundred bucks says I can get us a rainout tomorrow."
  4. Fell out of the bleachers onto the court during a timeout at a high school basketball game on the reservation in Keshena. Nothing else even comes close.
  5. I'm up to five pull ups in a row! Progress. It's a beautiful thing.
  6. I know I'm nitpicking, but technically several of these songs are not acoustic at the beginning nor during any other part of the song.
  7. Our season hinges upon whether or not Greinke can come back healthy or not, and when he can come back. If and when he comes back, this trade is basically meaningless. Dickerson wasn't going to get any playing time, and Mitre will be nothing more than an April fill-in.
  8. Just cut it off. What does a catcher need a pinky for anyway?
  9. The last thing I'm worried about is what comes out of Greinke's mouth. If you wanna know if this is going to turn off some members of Brewer nation, all you gotta do is look at the reaction of Royal nation when the trade went down. Not one Royals fan is happy he's gone because they didn't like his attitude.
  10. I finally figured out that it was my stupid internet connection that was blocking me from getting in. By the time I was finally able to get some tickets, the only seats available were the diamond box seats, which I was not about to spend that kind of money for, or single seats. I'm not too upset because I already have opening day tickets through a 9-pack, but if I didn't I would be way more upset. At least I figured out that my internet connection is crap, and now I know what I have to do next year.
  11. I was not even able to get that far. I got to the screen where it asked me to enter how many seats and what section I wanted, and I kept getting the "We are experience high traffic, please try again" message. After trying for about 20 minutes I gave up.
  12. Okay, so it looks like so far we've got a high of 17 and a low of, basically, zero. At this point, 17 is pretty unrealistic for me. Split that in half, though, and I've got something to shoot for.
  13. Besides all the baseball related reasons I wanted Rickie to stay, I also have my own selfish reasons. I purchased a Weeks jersey during his rookie season, and I now have at least 4 additional years, and maybe more if he retires a Brewers' legend, to rock my Weeks jersey!
  14. Sweet. I always liked Rickie, and I'm glad he'll be around for a while. If he stays healthy, I could see him being in the MVP conversation at some point during that contract.
  15. I tried doing a pull up yesterday for the 1st time in years, and I'm embarrassed at how bad I am at it. I was only able to do 2, sort of. The 2nd one wasn't pretty. The machine I was using has one of those assist things that you can kneel on to make it easier to do them, but real men don't need help to do pull ups. I'll keep at it, and hopefully I'll be able to do more in the near future.
  16. Generally speaking, I'm not a big fan of the player's union, but if St. Louis ends up losing the best player in baseball because they can't afford him, that would be awesome. It would also take some of the sting out of losing our best player in the same offseason.
