    Yeah, I made it into work with no problem after shoveling my driveway, which took about 30-45 minutes. I'm the only one here right now, which is kind of nice.

    I haven't seen this discussed anywhere, but I thought I would mention that I heard Ken Rosenthal mention on MLB Network that Jack Z was on his list of GM's on the hot seat going into this season. A few years ago people were calling for Jack Z to replace Melvin, and now it looks like all of that talk was just talk. After seeing how Seattle fared last year, I think we can be grateful things turned out the way they did.

    Chris Narveson will once again put up a 0.00 ERA. Rickie will continue to let his hair grow. Shawn Marcum will outpitch Zack Greinke. Casey McGehee will come into camp in the best shape of his life and proceed to crush the ball.

    I've read most of this thread, and I agree with those that say you have to give to get. The Brewers farm system has had a great run producing lots of offensively gifted players. Where has that gotten us? One appearance in the playoffs, and the only reason we made the playoffs that year was because we flipped our #1 hitting prospect for pitching help. Sound familiar? And it's not like any of us are saying, "Man, I wish we had Matt LaPorta and his .221 average in right instead of Corey Hart."

    The thing that drives me nuts about the NFL instant replay is that it takes forever because the ref has to watch the replay himself. Why? For as long as it takes for the ref to look under the hood and sit there watching the replay over and over, they might as well poll the audience. They could install voting keypads on the backs of every seat in every NFL stadium, and that would probably be quicker than the current system. Of course that wouldn't work in Lambeau because there are no seat backs. Maybe a verbal vote over the PA. All those in favor of safe? Opposed? The "I's" have it. Safe is the call. If they go to replay in MLB, they should definitely not go the NFL route. I like leaving it up to somebody in the booth. Don't they have replacement umpires that can be replay officials? Maybe they could rotate so that every 5th day, you're in the booth doing replay.

    why would the Marines make that trade? they'll get much more than that for Lee Because they stand on a wall and say, "Nothing is gonna hurt you tonight. Not on my watch."

    You can't just fault our pitching staff this year. Our defense has been awful. That also needs dramatic improvement in order for us to contend next year.

    The Brewers website is wrong. After the game yesterday on Brewers live, Craig Coshun stated that today's game would not be televised. He said it's the 1st non-televised game of the year.

    Manny Parra = High Life light. I used to think it sucked, but after giving it another chance, it's actually pretty good. Jeff Suppan = MGD 64. It used to be really good, but now it sucks. I miss MGD Light.

    I just flipped through pretty much this entire thread, and it was pretty funny to see all the different reactions of people going all the way back to when we didn't keep CV and Sessions, the drafting of Jennings, and when we traded for Delfino. And the "Can Brandon Jennings pitch?" line was already used in this thread, too.

    I was in the section directly behind where the kid got hit, and Escobar's bat flew several rows up into the stands. I actually flinched for a split second because when it happened, the bat was flying in my direction, and I was in row 12 of the loge level. It was pretty scary, actually. Thankfully, it didn't go all Rick Helling on the kid.

    I never could figure out why we have a tarp. Is it in case the roof breaks and gets stuck open?
