  1. There is a differance between big and fat. From all accounts Prince absoutely works his butt off to stay in shape. Numerous people with access to the clubhouse always say Prince isn't really fat, he is just extremely well put together. His baggy uniform certainly says otherwise though.
  2. Well since they/ve played a grand total of 6 road games, 3 against the Pirates, and they are only 2 games ahead of us, I am not to worried. I am probably thinking the same thing about the Cubs that they were thinking about us last year at this time. They can't possibly keep this up. Do I think Lee, Fukodome, Soto, and Johnson are going to keep playing like this? Heck No. Is Ryan Dempster going to win the Cy Young - When pigs fly Rickie Weeks, Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, Bill Hall, and JJ Hardy are all well below their career numbers. If even 2 of those guys revert back to how they have played in the past, we will be even with them.
  3. Apparently it is illegal to be ahead in the count Bill Hall 0-6.
  4. He is a lefty, Might as well chalk up a big ole W right now I am only being half sarcastic
  5. Were now 12-8 even though we pretty much suck
  6. Yeah except that Gagne has gotten 4 outs already
  7. Is someone up in the pen? Well something positive, Freakin Pujols up now. You can't walk him and put the winning run at 2nd can you?
  8. I am going to have a nervous breakdown
  9. Stetter already pitched in this game Oops, at work. Ppaying too much attention to my job, I guess. Thats not cool!! What is really more important? The Brewers or your job?
  10. I loved Star Trek: The Next Generation I have the full movie set as well although I havent watched them in a while. Generation has been the only Sci-Fi thing I could get into. Never really liked Star Wars or any of the later Star Trek shows
  11. For me in no particular order Brewers Deadliest Catch Flip that House Dirty Jobs Myth Busters Everybody Loves Raymond Family Guy John & Kate + 8 (Thats more of a wife thing but the show ain't half bad) Desperate Housewives (Wife Thing) Grey's Anatomy (New season starts this Thursday)
  12. How about we have a blow out game one of these days. How many 1 and 2 run games can we have in a row? I had multiple heart attacks last night and Prince, get your freakin head ouf your you know what. That 8th inning at bat was absolutely awful, pathetic, garbage, atrocious, etc. If you keep this up you are really going to be pissed next year when you don't get anywhere near Ryan Howard money. Oh and cut those ugly sideburns, they are nasty
  13. Its not just you. For me it is a whole bunch of Charter channels
  14. I just called Charter and thier is supposedly a service outage. Stupid cable companies Will be following this one on Gameday now Lets get some runs!!!!
  15. Man can FSN do a worse job so far this year? I cant even watch it right now
  16. Ok I have charter and am having the same issues. Definetly FSN related then. This half inning is just awful
  17. Is anyones else Brewer Broadcast really messed up, freezing up and blurry every once in a while?
  18. So what the heck happened with Skiles in Chicago this year?
  19. It was indeed the team the player plays for. He also said Hart and Hall are well liked around the league because they are good guys. He also had some other very interesting stuff to say, but this was to private to post on a public message board. I am sure by me saying this it is driving everyone crazy Sorry
  20. A close friend of mine grew up with a relief pitcher that is currently in the MLB. He is not within the division but I don't feel comfortable saying who the pitcher is. Anyways my friend caught up with him over the weekend and he had some very interesting comments about several Brewers players: Rickie Weeks - Will become the best Brewers hitter if he learns to trust his hands, he has the least amount of holes but lacks confidence and swings at too many bad pitches Prince Fielder - A good mistake hitter, is not very good when down in the count, and is very weak when facing a lefty who throws harder than 92 (would be interesting to see if this is actually true) Ryan Braun - If he is not the cockiest player in MLB he is very close. There have been talks on the team the player plays for that the next time they see Braun they will consider sending a message. The player said not only does no one on his team like him, not to many other guys do either Ben Sheets - Might have the best stuff in baseball when he is on, if he stays healthy the Brewers will win the division
  21. So it less than 4 hours till game time. What the heck is going on? Perhaps waiting to see how Ben feels this morning?
  22. Man Prince looked like Johnny Estrada coming home there. Ill take it though. 3 runs off of Cueto is no small feat
  23. Well Nedly said they never planned for him to pitch more than 6 innings yesterday. So maybe it was some kind of feeler game to see how his arm would hold up. Considering he made it through 5 innings pitching pretty darn good I hopeing that just took him out because his spot was due up and we had a fairly comfortable cushion. I think by Monday well know one way or the other, its always possible they are covering something worse up. But Ben certainly didn't look like anything was seriously wrong after he come out of the game. We can all tell when something is wrong because he is not a happy dude when something happens. He seemed to be enjoying himself after he came out
