    Seems to me Weeks is just a little messed up in the head. He seems to get screwed up very easily both in his approach and on defense and it takes him a long time to fgure it out. Until he figures out how to consistently have the same approach at the plate and consistently concentrates while playing defense I am afraid we are going to see a lot of these types os stretches. He is just completely out of whack right now and has no idea what is going on. Its pretty ugle, I still hope something clicks in that head of his though, and hopefully the lights stays on for more than 2 weeks at a time

    I am pretty sure Fielder would have some Chuck Norris qaulities in a fight. I also wouldnt want to get involved with Cappy, he probably has a wicked left hook. I think seeing Sheets in a fight would be hilarious. I can just see him trying to land a punch but completely missing and falling on his face. But man o man I would think twice about throwing at Fielder, he could probably kill some one. And I agree with the assessment that he is a ticking time bomb. I think it is almost gauranteed that he will charge the mound at one point of another. He seems to have a lot of built up anger

    Well they might change their mind after realizing Turnbow was back to his usual self yesterday, walking 4 out of 5 guys in his simulated game. Hopefully just an aberration but is still concerns me due to his past history

    I think he does need to get his head out of his you know what. Maybe he is distracted, maybe he is just in a "slump" either way it is pretty bad timing considering his recent public comments as well as the hissy fit he had that was described by one of the spring training attendees

    So how did Prince ground out Sexson to Lopez to Sexson? I would assume deflected groundball off of Sexson's glove but I cant be sure

    This is a pretty sweet thread I might add. I dont really have anything to add because I have a lifetime contract without an opt out clause unless the disorderly conduct clause is invoked. I dont see this coming into play however since both under contract are baseball purists and play by the rules.

    I had heard he was a set up man last year but he was pencilled in has a starter this coming year with Litsch being the odd man out. JP Riccardi has said he was looking into the trade market for a SP

    Would the Blue Jays want Dave Bush back? Ill be honest, we would probably be looking at minor leaguers in return and I know nothing about their system. What is their back up catcher situation like? Do they have anyone to spare?

    I for one hope that Corey Hart and Ryan Braun will eventually wear off on Fielder. Both are going through a similar situation, they have both had success and both and stated publically that their contract situation doesn't bother them and they realize that is just the system and the Brewers arent screwing them over. I think eventually Prince will realize that he is the one the highest paid pre arby players out there and there is no use getting pissed off about $200K now when nest year he will be darn close to 8 figures. I really hope his contract situation isnt distracting him from play right now, because he hasn't swung the bat especially well so far this spring.

    and Prince Fielder doesnt have a home run yet. We wont know if Fukodome is the real deal or not until at least may. Although rheir can be hot streaks and slumps that will last into May so lets make it July to be on the safe side

    If Cappy is struggling after 2 starts, Gallardo could very conviently come back from his injury and take his spot in the rotation, we went Weeks to AAA last year, we can do the same with Cappy, I dont care how much the guy makes. You have to pay him either way

    I am not a huge fan of the article in the Journal Sentinel this morning. Yost said it would be very hard to supplant the guys who have a history with the Brewers (Most notably Cappy, Bush, and Vargas). He insists its an open competition but it seems to me that it clearly isnt. Yost and/or Melvin are clearly favoring guys with track records all be it very mediocre track records over our un proven young guys like Parra and Villenueva (How exactly is he unproven anyways?). He said Suppan and Sheets are locks and whenever Gallardo gets back hell be a lock as well. I just don't like how crappy Bush has pitched so far in spring training, if he continues to pitch like this I really dont understand the logic behinf putting him in the rotation if the Brewers really are in "Win Now" Mode. I think I would be fine with Parra in AAA for a couple weeks but having Villy down there would be unacceptable. As of opening day the rotation should be Sheets, Suppan, Villenueva, Capuano, and Vargas/Bush in the 5 spot until Gallardo comes back. Then hopefully a pitcher gets hurt on another team and we can ship off one of Bush, Vargas, or Capuano, then we can bring Parra up and have a rotation of Sheets, Gallardo, Suppan, Villenueva, and Parra with ther SP losers in the bullpen

    Up here in FDL we dont have a lot of options but I usually consider Buffalo Wild Wings to be pretty good, although I dont have much to compare them to. And they are chainbrand and not really "Bar Food"

    So in other words it will be impossible to walk once you have a 3-2 count for fear of taking a 3rd strike. What Baker said is just moronic. In terms of Votto, if it aint broke dont fix it. You just get teh feeling that dusty is trying to completely change his players appraoches which will inevitably completely screw them up. Just let them play and let them use the instincts they have.

    I am sure he got addicted to it because he needed something to keep him awake during his first couple years here. Those teams had that type of effect on people

    I am pretty sure a single person who doesn't need to be named has actually doubled the readership of Brewerfan.net simply because that is all he ever talks about on other message boards all be it very negatively. I used to contribute to the JS Online forum fairly regulary because there are a decent amount of knowledgeable people over there but a couple people completely screwed everything up and would not allow for intelligent conversation to take place. I have never posted at mlb.com or ESPN but occasionally I will peek at MLB.com to see what kind of wonderful insightful conversation is going on.

    When workplace productivity drops at 1:05 on homes games, 1:20 on away Cubs, games, 12:05 on east Coast games, 2:05 when we play at AZ or CO, and 3:05 when we are on the West Coast And when productivity drops from 8-9 AM when I have to catch up on Brewerfan.net as well as check out all baseball related info at MJS, Yahoo, and Fox Sports So in conclusion you know its baseball season when I am busting my you know what from 9-1 on most days so I can slack off during baseball games
