  2. The 2019 Schedule thread is "stickied" to the top of the thread list under this 2019 Season thread.
  3. PM sent. Thanks all for the quick response!
  4. The Brewerfan.Net softball team wants to do new jerseys/shirts this season, but we'd need to get our hands on a high-quality image of the logo (ideally even a vector graphic format). I've attached a small, low quality example of the logo we've used in the past. This was the only thing I found online when searching just now for this version of the logo. Is there a file available somewhere that's better quality than this? Thanks!
  5. Practice on Saturday, 5/4, at Lafollette Park in West Allis. One of the north diamonds.
  6. Sac fly would bring home a welcome insurance run, and Perez attempts a bunt on his 0-1 pitch? I don't get it.
  7. Ed Sedar knows that Yelich follows Cain in the lineup, right? Out by a mile at home with a top 2 hitter in the league on deck.
  8. Can you name the Brewer single season record holder? My guess was going to be Glendon Rusch. He must be in the top 10?
  9. What I've heard about the roster so far.... IN 01 valpo 02 Houle 03 Austin 04 Jason 05 Aaron 06 Beeks 07 Bryon 08 Schubert 09 Hunter 10 Timbyte 11 Chad (Jason's brother) 12 Mickey (via Bryon, subbed with us before?) OUT Tom (injury) Radman (work schedule conflicts)

  11. I'll never understand the contact play. Especially with nobody out. Stupid.
  12. Seems like a crazy stat to me that the Brewers history includes 17 instances of 5 HRs in a game but 0 instances of 6+ HRs. I believe that's what BA just said...
  13. With Tiger Woods #1.

  15. It's only November, but the Milw Rec Dept did a Cyber Monday promotion again this year, so I signed us up with a nicely reduced team fee. Roll call...? *If any other BF board members are interested in joining the team this year, we usually have a couple open spots. Please feel free to reply in this thread or drop me a PM. Games are Thursday nights in Bay View, Milwaukee, start times of 6:30/7:30/8:30, for a 10-week stretch from mid-May to late-July. It's a social/recreational league.
  16. Good post. Every year there will be new challenges, relentless competition, etc, and we somehow navigated to get so close this year. And had our chance at home. And we score 1 run. And Jeffress struggles AGAIN. Ugghh. Even if we have a good team going forward, we could go years without making the playoffs and especially an NLCS clincher. I didn't even want to win it all, just the NL pennant and the WS appearance. Which is sad to admit, but true. Sigh.
  17. Well, I'd rather lose with the guys we've got than win with the likes of Machado and Puig on my favorite team. Not interested in gaining the whole world if it requires forfeiting the soul.
  18. We've gotten a ton of generous calls -- both low and off the plate. Can't believe Yelich wasted those two meaty curves. Really disappointing.
  19. From some of these posts, you'd think it was a 5+ run lead that was squandered with major gaffes from the manager. A 2 run lead is tenuous. It's on the road. Against a good offense. It's the 8th inning with 6 outs still to get. One of our best relievers didn't get the job done. It happens. Sometimes we're the ones doing it to other teams. Keep the faith. Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
  20. Incredibly lackluster (non-)attempt to frame that ball 4 pitch to Dugger by Kratz. Really surprising.
  21. What a great play by Aguilar. Who was that idiot national writer who recently(-ish) tweeted about Aguilar's defensive liability as an offset to his offensive prowess?
  22. First pitch to Yelich was nasty. Looked unhittable and had Yelich looking foolish. Can't believe it was nothing but fastballs after that.
  23. 01 valpo 02 Tim 03 Tom 04 Austin 05 Jason 06 Beeks 07 Houle 08 Bryon 09 Aaron 10 Schubert 11 Radman
  24. 01 valpo 02 Tom 03 Houle 04 Jason 05 Beeks 06 Schubert … late? 07 Austin 08 Hunter 09 Bryon 10 Chad (Jason bro) OUT Aaron Radman Tim
