    how many games where they up in the WC?(and yes, I know they still are up) didn't they pull even with the Cubs at one point? Blowing it and not making the playoffs is a collapse.

    I haven't been watching any movies lately, actually I haven't been to a movie theater in years. Watched Wedding Crashers for a good laugh last night. As for shows, I'm getting into The Office. I never watched it until a few days ago, and man I was missing out. That show is so funny. I got into Heroes last year and looking forward to that resuming. I haven't seen any of the shows you mentioned so can't help you out there but I'm also looking for more options to watch other than sports all the time.

    So why do it? maybe because thats the only way a fan can voice their displeasure at a ball game. Fans cheer when they are happy, and boo when they are upset. Booing a guy coming into a ball game is not cool, booing the pitcher throwing over to first is stupid. but booing bad play I think is acceptable if people want to do it. This booing topic comes up more than princes weight and thats a lot.

    normally I'm really sad that there is no game. One great thing about baseball is that there is another game the next day but today is a day of rest. Love it.

    honestly I have lost the drive to collect them and the person I collected them with is no longer really in my life. Might sound stupid but they kinda make me sad when I look at them because they remind me of the past. Pretty pathetic huh? On top of all that, autograph collecting is expensive and I have more important things to pay for. I really am torn on the idea of selling them though. I love them, I spent a lot of time, money and energy collecting them. Hell one time I waited til 1am for Yount to come out. Not to mention the excitement getting them. You saw how happy I was to get Biggio. But they just don't mean that much to me anymore, so I really really don't know. I do know that people on here will get a chance to purchase them before I go the EBAY route. And I thank Brian for allowing sales on his board. I just don't want to regret it later down the road, ya know?

    Thanks to everyone for their advice. I have been watching what I eat lately and Haven't had fast food since I started this thread. It might not sound like a big deal but believe me its huge for me. Other than that, I haven't got my fat butt out running yet or anything else. I'm lazy and to tired to do it before or after work. I have been pretty down in the dumps and really need to take out my emotions out on the road. Stop being lazy Jason!!!

    When things get tough, blame the fans. Sounds about right. Like DJ said, Prince, Turnbow, Hart, Ned said something to the effect of I'm smarter than all you. Years and years of losing will do that to your fan base. I think people on this board are to sensitive to the booing issue and people on this board think they are better than the rest of the fans that go to the games. I think the fans expected the team to lose before so they could give a damn about booing. Now the team is supposed to do well(and they are) and they see hacks like Gagne, Hall, and Weeks and Fielder booting every other ball hit to them. They fans just aren't going to put up with it anymore and the only thing they can do is boo. I think the fans are scared that the Crew will dupe them once again and choke the thing away. Booing really does nothing to help the team, but when Gagne comes into a close game and gives up a bomb on the second pitch, fans are going to boo, and boo loud.

    I wouldn't say he is a bad outfielder just because he took a bad route to the ball. I think he has done very well out there this year.
