    myself is whats bugging me. I'm in the worst hitting and fielding slump of my life in baseball and softball. I need to figure out how to field a ground ball again.

    Oh, and Pedro hooking me up with Brewers tickets...that is most definitely not bugging me. I'll second something by pedro, sending me a Driver autographed 8x10. and staying up late like I'm a little kid because I don't have to work tomorrow is super fun.

    our lineup is junk right now. yes mench hit the hr, and graffy is playing better but seriously, the lineup is not scary after prince. Hall needs to come back and be good or make a move for a bat.

    You are so right. Cappy, if nothing else, takes care of the fans. If I had more time I'd post some of the great stories I have about him. He talks, poses for pic's ... he's great. i have an awesome spring training story about cappy that I'll tell in a stories thread if one ever comes up

    Though I will say my jaw dropped to hit the keyboard when I looked at Yahoo!'s lineup page and they have him listed as playing CF. I was relieved to see that was a misprint. you're telling me, I asked in the rickie thread if it was true. It actually freaked me out

    well, that was one short benching for weeks. this is just another reason why bringing up TGJ made no sense. They need another right hand bat so that graffy doesn't have to play the OF.

    I am probably in the minority here, but I'd like some protection for my investment. actually, i'm pretty sure you're not in the minority here. There was a thread last year that talked about moving seats and I would say that the overall feeling on this board was that its not good to jump seats.

    holy crap this giants team is horrible. 5th inning, a walk, passed ball, another walk, another passed ball, then another passed ball, the walk scores on passed balls.

    from what I have heard, you're not allowed down by the dugouts anymore before the game unless you have a ticket to sit down there. I think many of the season ticket holders were getting upset that people would be in their seats or in their way. on one hand, I can understand where they are coming from, they paid the big money to sit there, those are their seats. on the other hand, they are there all the time, whats the big deal for someone to try to get autographs 30 min before the game starts.

    I know most people really hate big z but I enjoy watching him pitch. He has crazy movement on his ball and everytime he goes out he could pitch a no-no. plus dude can hit. Then there is always the chance he just might blow up and start punching guys. he just knocked down a line drive with his bare hand, that had to hurt a little.

    that's pretty rotten I've come to expect nothing less from the city of Chicago. I don't get why its rotten or what the city of chicago has to do with it. If you want to be mad, be mad at MLB. The classic saying of don't hate the player hate the game, or in this case the rules. Lee is hurting so its the perfect time to take his suspention, add in the fact that big Z is pitching today it makes a ton of sense to start sitting now. I hate the cubs as much as anyone else on the board, but its a smart move by them and dlee

    That said, do you think his goal is to actually win a championship or do those type of guys become content with having solid teams each year that bring in revenue? thats a good question. Guys like Mark A, sure they want to win, but how bad? and is winning more important that making money to them? Thats why I do like guys like George Steinbrenner and Cuban that will spend money because they hate to lose.

    I agree with homer, I think that he should be sent down to work on his swing. He isn't going to work through it by riding the bench. Either that, or just put him on the DL. His confidence has to be shot right now. Watching everyone that he played with through the minors do well, and he losing his starting job. That has to be tough.

    on the second level in right, there are also stools and tables i believe yup, there are. When I go early and sit in the Uecker line, I'll go up to those stools and sit..Best seats in the house when they only cost $1

    That was an awesome shot, if Dunn batted left handed, the Brewers should go out and get him this might be a mistake by you, but dunn does bat left handed. that was an awesome shot, dude just crushes the ball. I would love to add dunn to the line up somewhere

    any time your ace has to leave a game early no matter how little the injury might seem, its good enough time to worry. Then when you have an mri to make sure things are ok, i think its more than ok to worry...if things turn out to be nothing then good, we dodged a bullet. We'll see in the next day or so
