  1. the loud talker guy does suck, but for me its the "close talker" guy. I can't stand it when someone feels the need to pretty much stand on me to talk. I can take a step back but they always follow and take a step in. You can feel their breath on you, and smell their breath, or their BO its just horrible.
  2. you can blame a weak arm, being lazy, dogging it, and not taking pitches all on Estrada but batting 5th is all on Yost.
  3. i'm in the camp of if you have to get to the next inning you pitch your best pitcher. I would have pitched coco before balfour. I especially would have brought him in after the first walk.
  4. Braun, Braun, Braun, Braun... not only is he raking, he shows on the field that he really really wants to win. I wonder even as a rookie if he would be the type of guy to get in the face of a vet for lack of hustle.
  5. after watching the replay of Balfour throwing the ball to 3rd on the Bunt, it looks like Estrada is pointing for him to throw the ball to 3rd. If he is pointing to 3rd i'm willing to bet he is also yelling for him to throw there. Estrada is not only a lazy baserunner, he is very lazy behind the plate. Rarely does he go down to block a ball, he always trys to short hop it, or comes up on it. He is really wearing out his welcome already here.
  6. This does suck for the pence and the stros. He was having a great season and gave their fans something fun to watch. As long as Braun keeps playing well, he should win ROY pretty easy now. on a selfish side note, this really hurts the fantasy team
  7. Ok, now its my turn to vent and kick the dead horse that is Estrada. I didn't get to watch the game because of work and its probably a damn good thing. I went back and watched to see if Estrada really did dog it as much as people were saying. I couldn't believe the lack of hustle on his part. I agree with everyone that he should be benched and probably lit up in the dugout by Yost. Yost still doesn't go un noticed by me. Him batting Estrada 5th is just moronic but some how he is the only one in america that thinks its a good idea.
  8. Thats a sweet picuture. You probably had to get there way early to get a good seat since so many fans turned out to see his rehab start.
  9. last year out of the 18 games I went to, 10 of them were against the reds. I haven't been to many games this year but will be going to more once sept comes, so I'll probably see the reds a lot once again. Funny how things work out like that, how it seems you see the same team or same pitcher every time you go to a game.

  11. only 1 run outta that crap. a guy on 3rd and 1st with 1 out and dude trys to bunt for a hit? I would say no, teams aren't trying. They are trying to get the cubs in first because baseball hates the Brewers and Bud. I don't really believe that, I was just trying to be kinda funny.
  12. no way was he out on the transfer. You have to catch the ball first to be called out on that play. If you're trying to be too quick with the ball and drop it, it should be safe all around. They should change that rule, IMO
  13. Gross wasn't really serving any purpose as the team's 5th OF, and rotting on the bench was hindering his progression as a hitter. Let him get some consistent AB's at AAA, and let Gwynn handle the late inning/spot-start stuff. isn't this what we wanted with TGJ? isn't TGJ sitting on the bench hindering his progression and he is much more important than gross is down the road.
  14. cubs are so annoying. Every crappy hitter on their team is getting hits
  15. i hear you about the wave, when the Crew is losing, or batting, or its a very close game, the wave shouldn't be done. I hate the wave as it is, this just makes it worse. I also wish people stayed in their seat during the middle of the inning. If you need to go get something to eat, or bathroom or whatever, and you have to leave during the middle of the inning, please go when the other team is batting. When I get something to eat, I never come back during the inning, I'll wait til its over.
  16. This makes no sense to me. If he is the one being sent down this time, why wasn't he sent down the first time?
  17. 20fry, I have noticed that too this year. Where were your tickets for that game? I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you spent more money on your tickets than SRO tickets cost. Which is funny, why can't you stand in SRO when you paid for a ticket? I don't get that.
  18. Yes, because it was ridiculously stupid and cooler heads prevailed. It was so moronic it made us the laughing stock of the world. It was worse than those damn wedges of cheese someone thought of and now we get to see them every time there's ONE in a crowd of 60,000. this from a fan of a team that has a sausage race where 40,000 people will stand and watch a race of sausages. If anything, that thing is stupid, IMO. and laughing stock of the world? I'm sure nobody other than people in milwaukee even knew there was a rally rabbit.
  19. they could have been asked to get rid of the sign and not kicked out of the game. In the picture, barry himself is dressed like a woman. Kicking them out of the game is a bit much here.
  20. by the way he swings the bat, a late inning pinch hitter has to be the way to use wise.
  21. He has been on the DL for most of this year, its too bad that they didn't get a head start on the surgery. I'm sure they were hoping that he would be able to come back this year, but now he might miss some of next year. Its too bad for him and the cards but good I guess for the crew
  22. looking at todays lineup, we need to get a bat like dunn in here. I don't know if I want to give up a guy like turnbow in the divison though since he can come back and burn us.
  23. I know there is much Yost can do with the players he has, but that lineup is horrible.
  24. i just purchased MLBtv and right now, its the greatest thing on earth.
  25. well, right now the Cubs are playing amazing and while the Crew has won 4 of 5 they aren't exaclty pounding teams and scoring tons of runs. I'm not going to say they won't be in first by the time he comes off the DL because even with the Cubs playing amazing, the Brewers are still hanging on.
