  1. If by success you mean his 6.32 BB/9 is meaningless because it comes in games already decided, sure! I know success is a relative term, but McClung's innings at least have had endings -- which some other pitchers have had trouble with. I think he is just fine pitching the innings he is currently pitching, and shouldn't be in the rotation.
  2. Not a totally insane concept -- he has started previously (as mentioned above). He did start, sort of like how Braun played 3b. I agree to leave him where he is having success.
  3. People thought i was crazy in the chat when I brought this idea up. In all fairness you were crazy, we didn't think Doug would follow suit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  4. This reminds me when they gave Rick Helling some starts in 2006.
  5. Huh -- I would have thought some one would have claimed him -- I guess a 4.00+ WHIP scares some people away.
  6. Was this a pun? Look, you guys can make fun of it as much as you want, but without the riffs, the adult film industry quits being an outlet for artistic expression, and instead becomes a dearth of recordings of people intercoursing. (I don't do puns, unless they happen)
  7. I thought they only hired bass players? Sounds like you need to some research into the industry's musical scoring. He plays more of a banjo type of guitar anyway. Only for "Sheepless in South Dakota"
  8. Would there be a fear that he (Hargrove) would bail again? As long as we don't trade for Ichiro -- I think he would be OK. I admittedly don't know where Hargrove's head is at (unlike Ned -- I know where his head is at), but his style/experience would make me a Brewer koolaider again, or at least until they started playing games again.
  9. <-- Guitarist for adult film riffs
  10. And that's absolutely ridiculous if they decide to go that route. We've fired hitting coaches, 1st base coaches, 3rd base coaches etc. under Ned. It's time for him to go. I agree with you -- but I suspect Naivin is right -- some coaches/players are bound to go under the bus first
  11. I'm planning on biting my pillow I meant to I'd be shaking my fist at the TV, shaking my fist at the table would be silly
  12. All I know is the Brewers better win 2 of 3 this weekend, or I'm going to start shaking my fist at the table
  13. McClung should be ready to throw at Pujols by Sunday
  14. Yost cannot be faulted for the players hitting and pitching so poorly Yost can be faulted for PHing TGJ
  15. Yost is insane. I think more stupid than insane.
  16. Do you think the fact that some players don't feel inclined to listen to their base coaches shows a lack of discipline from the team, and an imbalance of team control between player and coach? Probably
  17. Iron Man looks like good movie I think McClung should battle Iron man
  18. We're out of tricks, my wife is 40 weeks on Sunday and this is our third so we are wondering what the hold up is with this kid. Is it a girl. I have found girl babies to be problematic.
