    Man, I love that picture of Sheets after winning the gold medal. I agree with Team Canada. Pure play by play can get a little annoying, although we don't really want an in game thread of "YESSSS!" and "GRRRRRRR! BRADY CLARK!" either (I myself am guilty of this), so it doesn't hurt to write what happened on the play you are commenting on. Let's go get 'em today...It's a day game so the balls should be flying a little better, which is good news for Prince, Carlos, and Rickie who have watched some absolute bombs turn into fly ball outs on the warning track. (Uecker said that Prince's booming double yesterday would've been off the scoreboard at Miller Park). Also, expect the Crew to have some fire in their belly. They wouldn't be human if the last two games don't have them frustrated as hell. Here's to Ben Sheets pitching well and avoiding the sweep. GO BREWERS!

    Good job BIlly! For the second time this game, the Brewers score on a 2-out single after it looked like they would spoil RISP with less than 2-outs. Well done.

    I like the fact that Penny didn't strike out a batter in 6 innings in his last start. If the Crew doesn't have problems getting guys into scoring position (like last night), then they should'nt have too much trouble getting them home (unlike last night). If Penny isn't a guy who's going to strike you out with a guy on third with 1 down, then that gives us a good chance of getting a sacrifice RBI or two tonight. That all said, we usually find any way possible to strand runners in scoring position, striking out or not.

    This game was garbage...It's tough to come back like that and then lose on a questionable (to put it lightly) call. I thought today woud be the best shot at a win...Oh well, we'll just have to get 'em Saturday and Sunday. Good job everyone who stayed up past midnight, sorry we didn;t get the job done..

    On the subject of Uecker, I remember him saying he wanted to plug the Crew a bit on the show. He didn't really get a chance to do that, so I think during the C-Break he maybe asked Jay to mention again that there was a Brewer game tonight. Dunno, just a thought. On the subject of the game, this is just the kind of game you have to shake your head at. Just doesn't seem like our night...yet.
