    I think you mean Amy Ryan. Saw Lars and the Real Girl a few days ago. Offbeat, sweet/quirky small town at its best. Ryan Gosling's certainly branched out in the last few years.

    Regardless of how much people complain about it, Yost is never going to shuffle the lineup positions around just because someone is getting a day off. So whoever is batting for Braun is going to hit 3rd, etc. Just accept it and move on. Besides, for 1 game it's pretty much irrelevant anyway.

    Yep, his next start will be with Milwaukee, it's just a matter of deciding who he's going to replace and what day they want him to arrive.

    That's a ridiculous straw man. No one's going to criticize Yost about having someone warm up. The times our pitchers go less than 7 innings is going to be far more than the number of times they go 8 or 9, so it's simply being prepared for a likely eventuality.

    My beef is that Yost let CV give up 5 straight hits. Even if a starter is cruising, if it's not Sheets, you pretty much should have someone at least stretching in the 7th just in case. 5 hits without an out is inexcusable. Regardless of how he was doing before, clearly the wheels have fallen off at that point.
