    Love the lineup.

Braun getting in on the short single action.
  5. Team Canada
    Sweet.

By my count, every start so far this year has been a "true test" for Sheets according to a few here on BF.net. No kidding.
  7. Team Canada
    Ditto, I never knew that.

This is a public domain access site. And as such, we are not guests into Brian's house, but rather customers he has to deal with. Wrong. This is Brian's site, he owns it, he pays for hosting, etc etc. He can do whatever he wants, including telling you to follow rules. He doesn't have to deal with anyone, it's called banning.

Vargas ain't exactly lights out this game.

Man that salamni sure hurts now. I love how JJ and Prince won't let each other keep the lead for very long.

Yeah, Kremblas said he wanted to get him as many AB's as possible.

Aquino will have his rehab assignment expire soon, does anyone know when? It started 5/21, and best I can tell, position players have a limit of 20 days, and pitchers a limit of 30 days. So technically we have a lot of time.

I'm just loving that diesel is $.40 cheaper right now that unleaded.
  14. Team Canada
Wow, that's a nice suprise. And great news about Braddock.

As Brian noted, trading Graffy eliminates the depth that we have. You need more than 1 backup infielder.

I'm as disgusted as anybody else, my only thought is that I think in suits you generally name as many parties as possible and then let the judge throw out the spurious ones, so perhaps that's going here.

Eric Neel with a column about heroes of baseball PRINCE FIELDER, 1B, MILWAUKEE BREWERS I'm not going to lie. It's the Kirby Puckett, Charles Barkley, Fridge Perry, you-shouldn't-be-able-to-do-that-at-your-size, you-shouldn't-be so-Weebly-and-yet-so-formidable-all-at-once thing that charms me -- makes me value each home run as somewhere on the order of 1.37 runs, and each single as a cause for celebration. Throw in the fact that he is, as Vin Scully so matter-of-factly put it the other night, "named for the enigmatic rock star," and you have something truly special.

Actually there's a whole thread about it.

What keeps the water from rising? Air pressure, I think. I read a comment elsewhere from someone who was dead sure that whole place wouldn't have flooded when the porthole was broken, but who knows.

    For crying out loud..

I'm just glad someone stopped listening to Ben's BS. Even if he was right about them not supposed to leave, I was tired of the constant "trust me, I know what I'm talking about, we're the good guys" crap.

So here's a question: In the "flash fowards", how is Jack's dad alive??
  23. Team Canada
Those are good guesses. My first was Locke, but it definitely has to be someone unmarried and unattached, and that people don't really like. You know, based on Jack's partial voicemail that he left (now presumably with Kate, not Sarah as you would think during the show), it might be most likely Sawyer, otherwise why would it be an emotional thing, unless it was more of a general nostalgia.. Also, this occurred to me - we now know that there are 3 more seasons. Abrams/Lindelof have claimed they had the rough outline of the show mapped out from the start. They may not have had much say in the scheduling/amount of episodes the next three years, but it is interesting to think about this moment occuring exactly (more or less) in the middle of the series. First 3 seasons - trying to get off. Last 3 seasons - trying to get back.

Wow, crazy. I didn't even make the connection that the flashback/present had flipped, just was confused by a future flashback.

    This is ridiculous.
