  1. That's Brewers baseball right there. Blech.
  2. isn't this Sarfate's first bad outing in relief? I believe he blew a game in his first or second bullpen outing.
  3. Dennis Sarfate couldn't save it (three walks)... He's not exactly helping his case out lately.
  4. So, Ben's pitching well.. *whistles nonchalantly*
  5. Apparently Mench decided it's time to start hitting again.
  6. Turnbow does not deserve that strike call. Smoltz does, Maddux does, glavine, clemens, the old boys... blaming an ump is weak. That's funny, I always assumed there was a standard strike zone for everyone.
  7. Coco is the MAN. I like that guy.
  8. *Enters Leo Mazzone rocking mode*
  9. Our backup catcher even can throw out Pierre! I love you Mike Rivera.
  10. That way Cordero could qualify for another save! There you go..
  11. It's especially funny with Rivera's super-serious pic right across from it.
  12. Prince now 0-0, 3R, 3BB, 1HBP. Talk about boosting your obp...
  13. Mike Rivera: Catching Whoassolvd!
  14. Our backup catcher is hitting .300.
  15. 20 pitches, 1 out. Prior's not going too long today.
  16. Do you always bash people when they disagree with you? Congratulations, you just won the Unintentional Irony award, come on down! Someone may have a different viewpoint than you regarding perceptions of different players on the team or the organization in general. Some guys like myself aren't obsessed with stats or OBP or SLG or pitching geek stats, but rather are focused on who wins us ballgames. Some people love calculating that stuff, and to them I say HAVE FUN! But for me, I love looking at box scores and standings and seeing W's in the win column for the Brewers. I tend to like the players who contribute the most to that "W" column, and if I need to be condemned for that, then go right ahead. Thus, Ben Sheets does not make my favorite players list, nor does Geoff Jenkins. I love players who get the most of their ability and contribute in the clutch and earn their money. There's nothing wrong with that. Speaking of incoherence, I'm not sure how you determine who contributes to wins without stats. Is it the glint in their eye? Posture? How fast they run down the line?
  17. I think you should stick to hockey, canada. And I think you should watch your tone or you won't be around long.
  18. but his last few outings have been really good. Really good?? I don't understand the conclusion that just because he happened to get a win, and got out of trouble a couple times, he suddenly is pitching great. But I'm sorry we're all such idiots for thinking Doug hasn't pitched very well this year.
  19. I'm SO glad Doug got to fact that extra batter.
