  1. Well, we got Villanueva eventually. Injured leg? ... and an RBI! Nice job Chuck.
  2. Hide the women and children, Geoff Jenkins is hot!!
  3. Wow, they certainly got pounded tonight. 11-4.
  4. Single for Kennedy, there goes Freddie's..
  5. Alright, now let's just get outta here with a W.
  6. Man Sheets is filthy. That's going to really suck if it's the only hit of the afternoon.
  7. 5 down, 4 to go. It's getting serious.
  8. He just doesn't want to finish with fewer HR than Hart.
  9. I hate the Pirates. Also, Yost mentioned on the pregame that Hart has played his way into an everyday position for a long time to come. HALLELUJAH.
  10. On the plus side, we're guaranteed not to lose tonight...
  11. TC, I'd rather have TGJ starting every day in center. Why?
  12. Do you move Hall to CF or Braun to a corner OF spot? I would imagine Braun would be the one to be moved, given Halls superior defense. I'd love to have that problem next year. Personally, I'd rather not waste Braun at a corner spot. I think overall, it's better to move Billy to CF, his numbers there look just as amazing as they do at short, and Braun'll probably be fine at 3b, even if he's not quite as good as Hall would be.
  13. Sigh. Another late season collapse in full effect. This team is horrible.
  14. 3-0, not even any outs yet. Yikes.
  15. This is your bullpen falling apart: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1760.jpg Yup, there goes the lead: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1762.jpg Way to not strike out, Geoff! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1779.jpg Don't worry guys, we get to face Capellan next inning http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1790.jpg Wait for it... http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1818.jpg Deja vu. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1820.jpg Poor Damian: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1794.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1800.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1801.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/ja002h/IMG_1802.jpg
  16. What exactly is he supposed to do? He pitched a great game without his best stuff but as usual his offense let him down. Check your sarcasm meter. Looks like it's broken.
  17. Ergh. The only thing more frustrating than the bullpen giving up a homerun... is the bullpen giving up TWO. Sheets and Oswalt were both fun to watch, was in the front of 218 right behind the plate.. Both changed speeds extremely well, obviously, although Sheets had a couple more meat pitches. Jenkins had no chance. I love me some Corey.
  18. Villanueva has to be strongly considered for a rotation spot in Milwaukee in 2007. Agreed. He was serviceable in the jump from AA, and has absolutely dominated since going down to AAA. Then again, so have all of our pitchers who got crushed in the bigs...
  19. Had I remembered Lowe was pitching, I wouldn't have even bothered to pay attention. Sinkerballers own us.
  20. Can we save some runs for tomorrow?
