  1. Well, that is if you consider Miller Park the home field advantage vs the Cubs. Turbo, I believe you are a great fan. But how like here, find a negative, just enjoy the moment!
  2. I have to laugh, I wrote that post, sure genius by accident!
  3. Teams are going to do it the rest of the year against the Brewers. The front office made this bed, and now they are unfortunately forced to sleep in it. I totally understand that lefty power plays well in Miller Park, but this team went overboard with it, and is now paying the price. Simple move today would have been to option Gamel to make room for Freitas, with Grandal getting some off days. Imo, Grandal is worn down, slow bat, 6 week slump, needs to rest. Why this isn’t being done, with Yelich back now is causing me to lose faith in Stearns even more than I already have this year with his chronic mismanagement of the roster. We get it, you hate Stearns, and know way more than him about baseball. Could you let it a rest now and then?
  4. This thought makes me want to throw something in frustration: Why are baseball players being promoted when they are recalled, which means they did well, but contaminated food and cars and stuff is being demoted since being recalled means they were defective? The same thing means the opposite. HOW CAN THIS BE?! I this a blue post? If not, not it is weird.
  5. Nice story. I think sometimes we lose sight of the fact that many of these guys are good people. They may eventually fall short in their major league career. Yet we should never call them the names that some fan boards love to do.
  6. Good grief, what is with this obsessive "venture capitalist" stuff? You even use the term wrong. A VC gets in at early stage funding on a new company. I do not think the Brewers were a new concept early stage company. Further, I do not think Attanasio and partners have demonstrated any kind of buy, bleed and sell ideology.
  7. -Because we are smarter now. -Because the game has become much more intense phycially over the years. -It is no longer possible to eat hot dogs and drink beer at a local tavern between games of a doubleheader.
  8. Why do you have to personally insult Albers? It is uncalled for. He's been called that since he's be6in the show. Where u been? I know that, I have been right here. Fat shaming sucks and has no place here. Keep it to baseball.
  9. Critiscism is fine. But two "garbage" references are over the top.
  10. Did you give him tips on a better suit? Maybe send him to Harley's?
  11. We have to have Bill! If not we could not have that drinking game: a drink (you know, coffee, tea, diet soda) every time Bill says "he kept his hands in and went the other way." I would miss that.
  12. Ha, that was very NC-17!
  13. I admire your "always look on the bright side of life" demeanor, but I do have to doubt Woodruff is a better hitter than t any of the position of all stars. But he is a sound hitter, just sayin.
  14. Garbage? That is really uncalled for. Are your really a Brewer fan? Critical and tough analysis is called for. But "garbage?" C'mon man. (mr tr rebs)
  15. Just as I was about to go withn old schools advice, I tried the integrated link once more, and it worked. Weird.
  16. Darn, that makes sense! Tx!
  17. I have often used Stub Hub to sell tix I cannot use through the integrated Brewers link. I cannot go tomorrow, the link is not active. After a half hour on the phone, I got disconnected, and I cannot get my rep. Anyone else encounter this, and find a solution? Thanks
  18. Did we not in the olden days pride oursleves in being giph free?
  19. Don't the advertisers buy the "spots" well before the teams are determined. I don't see how the broadcasters or networks really care about the market of the teams involved. No, they may commit, but final price will be driven by expected viewership potential. Larger the ratiing and share potential the more they will pay. Advertisers and nets know that and price accordigly
