  1. >>Where did you see it for sale? << I saw it at a card show I attended Sunday. It was NOT labeled for retail.
  2. I saw a DVD today titled "First in a lifetime: The 2008 Milwaukee Brewers". I didn't buy it though because I didn't know if it was the same DVD that will be given out tomorrow to those with vouchers.
  3. Looking to raise a few dollars for Christmas. First semi reasonable offer takes it. I'm NOT looking for anything close to a profit, I just need to move this item. Make an offer, you might be surprised. You can pick up a great Christmas gift - very cheap. Authentic Collection Milwaukee Brewers Bullpen Jacket by Majestic, Officially licensed by MLB Brand new with tags, Size XL Purchased from the Fan Zone Store at Miller Park Retails for $149.99 regular price, $129.99 on sale I don't have a photo of the jacket (I lost my memory card for my camera) but it looks IDENTICAL to the photo below, only with Brewers branding of course. PM me if you're interested. I can ship for an additional cost, but I'd prefer to arrange for pick up. I work in West Allis and can meet this week. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/ccc251218f9e31665840c9dfa86936f82c902d6.jpg
  4. That's actually pretty cool. Brewers in the Sounds font. I like it. Good find.
  5. They are gone now, but they were there last night. I followed the "playoff gear" link on the front page of Brewers.com and they were listed. I just checked again and the locker room hats are gone.
  6. Tell me about it. I recorded the game on DVD and I am in the process of dubbing in 620's audio over FSN's video. A-Maze-Ing.
  7. Just a couple of thing that may or may not have been covered but.... ~Yes, preferred parking is gone. General parking is expected to be completely sold by game day as well - so don't anticipate getting lucky. ~Most people just toss the parking pass onto the dash board and go inside for the game. Remember that for the post season you will need to have your parking pass hanging from the mirror or otherwise prominently displayed in your windshield with the number and "Home game 1" facing out. ~The bottom portion of your stub will act as a ticket and the gate attendant will rip the bottom portion. ~Preferred parking pass holder should enter at Mitchell Blvd, or 44th street. If you try to enter the lot without a preferred parking pass you will be turned around and sent back. Good luck to everyone going to the game. Here's to a smooth day!
  8. Yep. I clicked into this thread a couple of hours ago and thought I was on a completely different kind of website for a second.....
  9. I may have two extra. They are in Row 1 (great seats) in the 400 level for home game #1 (NLDS game 3) . I'm still waiting for word from the boss (the girl friend) to sell these two and buy two tickets from my brother to sit at Fridays for game one. She didn't seem extra excited about the prospect of sitting at Fridays (instead of in the front row) so we'll see. I'll post here if they are available.

  11. Directv messed up. It just came on 669 right now.
  12. I would love to. But, really - after knocking about 12 customs out in the early part of this year, I started a new job and I just haven't had a chance to think much about it. I haven't even explored which figures I'd need to put together to come up with the right body type.
  13. I've got a few Younts, one with the Schmidt body, and 3 with the Jeff Kent body. My first "Kent-Yount" turned out nice, but the hair was too short and the color was off a bit. With the next ones I actually sculpted a mustache and longer hair onto the existing head. Turned out very well (IMO). I've also been working on a Gantner, but I haven't gotten past the disassembly and priming steps. It's been sitting on my table for a month or two. But your Gumby looks pretty good. If you can put a mustache on him and find a pair of glasses, it would be close to perfect.
  14. This was originally from last season, but today seems like a good time to break it out again. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/ilookback/brewersfold.jpg
  15. I have a brand new copy of the game "Battle Field Bad Company" for the xbox 360 I'm looking to trade. This copy is in 100% perfect shape, never played. The film wrap has been removed, but the security label is still intact. Both the disk and the case are in brand new condition. I can also provide a copy of the receipt for the game dated 9/14/08. I'm looking to receive a copy of the Godfather for for xbox 360. PM if you're interested and we can work out the details.
  16. Waukesha Sports Cards is usually an excellent source for 1982 balls.
  17. Brewers, I'll check the packers score every half hour or so.
  18. Brewers appreciation should be taught to all third graders. Good Job!
  19. Matt (my brother) didn't have an unlimited supply or anything. He had, what - 20 or so. Some times it pays to know someone, who knows someone.
  20. Thats odd. Just tell them you have a new job or let them know you're not interested in anything on between the hours of noon and 6pm, and nothing on 3rd shift. Or easier yet, just call them and ask to update your contact info and give them a bogus phone number. Make sure to give them at least 3 "new" (fake) numbers. If you really want to fall off the radar, tell them you were arrested and you're facing multiple felony counts.
  21. Congrats Jason. Not only is he a great writer, but - from my experience with him - a good guy too. Good job!
  22. This information, as pointed out above is not accurate. There were additional bobbles produced. I believe 500 was the minimum order from Promotional Adventure with an over / under run of up to 3% of the total ordered.
  23. Ding! Ding! Ding! Truer words have never been spoken.
  24. I spent about a decade in grocery management and I'll back up this statement, at least with regards to center store items. Even in the perishable departments the GP is no where near 200%, it was usually between 20-40%.
  25. That's it? I tend to tip more toward $1/drink....exception being if drinks are crazy cheap (like $1) then I wait till I leave and toss out $5-$10, depending on how many drinks me/the group had. Wow, now I feel bad about all the bartenders I've been shorting. I just see so many people leave nothing, I thought I was ahead of the curve. Well BF.net educates me once again.
