    Another option would be to look into rescue. My aunt is part of the Boston Terrier rescue for Wisconsin. She has two Bostons of her own, plus an Italian Greyhound. And then she usually has anywhere from 2-5 extra rescue dog at a time that are cycled in and out waiting to be adopted. Basically it's like a foster home for dogs. One of her Bostons is a rescue, my grandpa has a rescue, and I have a rescue. I will say that some of the dogs have their problems (mine is really ****** but it's because she was a puppy mill dog and was abused) but most of them are really good dogs. A lot of times people just find out that they don't have time for a dog or older owners go to nursing homes or die. I'm not saying to get a Boston from her but any kind of rescue is good. I tend not to like breeders because of the puppy mill situation. However, if you do go the breeder route, make sure they are definitely in it for the animals and not just to make money.

    Yeah, I can't believe Elton John, Prince, Kenny Rogers, Roy Orbison, etc. are considered guilty pleasures. These are considered all-time great musicians so why would they be a guilty pleasure? To me a guilty pleasure is something that is considered to be "bad", have no substance or is cheesy, such as boy bands, britney/christina types, kenny g, etc. My guilty pleasures using this definition would have to be JoJo (the female singer, not K-Ci &), New Found Glory (on the no substance issue), Miley Cyrus (yeah I know it's awful). A few songs I'd include are Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Never Surrender by Stan Bush (from Kickboxer), and Hold On by Wilson Phillips. Edited to respond to previous post: I still consider Sunny Day to be emo, just a different type of emo. There was the first type in the mid 80s and then Sunny Day and Texas is the Reason in the early to late 90s. By the 2000s, I think real emo just about died out, yet the term continued to be used. It's a shame because a lot of the original emo bands would get a bad rap being referred to as emo nowadays. New "emo" is basically pop-punk crap (though I still like some of it like NFG and Sum 41) or pseudo teenage angst "i'm 16 i hate my parents my life sucks i wanna die but instead i'm just going to wear all black and get an awful haircut."

    I was just giving one example. "Just Like You" is another example of an awful song by them. And being on the radio has nothing to do it. I love popular music, I just hate terrible music. And these are both examples of terrible music.

    I wasn't saying that Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin are like Nickelback in that all their songs sound the same. I said they are like Nickelback in the fact that they suck and they try to be harder than they really are. Three Days Grace trys to be angry with songs like (I Hate) Everything About You but yet the actual sound is catchy, radio-friendly crap. Three Days Grace rivals Nickelback in the awful lyric department for sure.

That's probably the thing that pisses me off the most about them is they try and act like they are a hard rock band when they're not even close. The same is true of Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin. The three of them toured together last year and it was probably the worst tour of all-time (in terms of sheer awfulness). I just cannot believe that people listen to this crap and enjoy it. They all act like they are tough but in reality, they blow.

    I would do Weeks for Peavy but no way do I trade Prince and JJ for Kazmir. Kazmir is sweet but Prince will break Hank Aaron's record (by 2009).

    I have no problem including Capellan in a deal if it nets us someone better than a mediocre 37 year old pitcher. Mench for Lieber might not be a bad deal but no way do we include Capellan.

    i don't think TGJ and Baldelli are the same type of player at all. TGJ is definitely more of a speedy leadoff type, whereas Baldelli seems more of a power bat better suited to the 3 or 5 hole. Though it would be nice to get a great true leadoff hitter (like a Crawford), it would be hard to pass up Baldelli if given the chance to get him (though that seems more unlikely as the days pass).

    long-time viewer, second-time poster...is anyone playing the bill and daron drinking game? apparently i posted last year in the Mike Adams nickname thread about how he should be Control-Alt-Delete. But then he blew up and Turnbow took over. Regardless, this is my second post, not my first like I first wrote.
