    It's fitting that the Crew will go below .500 AND go back into 5th place on the same loss. But we are only a RF away from the playoffs, right?

    3 weeks ago this thread would have had a thousand posts in it. Now the Crew falls alll the way down to ***GASP*** .500 and noone cares anymore? ANYWAY, here's to seeing Cap continue on his quest to prove himself a viable Major League starter.

    You know what, it IS OK to be .500. I refuse to let this board set the Brewers up EVERY year as disappointments. You can't just take the high point of a team's year and say their goal should be 5 games above that. With nearly the worst offense in baseball, the Brewers are .500. What the hell ya want?

    Our pitching has been SO good thsi year....... What about out offense!!!???? ***SOBBB***** Maybe if we didn't friggin' bunt with a man on second and NO outs! Way to play the %. I can't wait until I'm 50 when doing that will be unthinkable.

    This is what is on my Gameday. What happened? Sac fly for a run, runner on first caught in a run down, so dunn took off for home

    We'll look back on today as when the tide turned for the season. That along with "This game is a must win" must have been said about 1000 times this year. I should know, I own about 5 of them http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif With the exception of Overbay, this whole offense is pretty much junk. Sad but true.

    Now, I realize this is absolutely impossible for anyone to grasp, but I'll try it again: THE BREWERS OFFENSE IS BAD IN ALLLLLLLL SITUATIONS. The Brewers could go hitless for the first 8 innings, get a leadoff double in the 9th and strand him, and people would say clutch hitting lost the game. Stupid Brewers

    I swear, it's happened about a million times. Yost let's his starting pitcher bat late in the game with RISP. Next inning BOOM. We've got a decent bullpen YOST!

    Why bring the infield up in the 5th inning? Ned ALWAYS brings in the infield. Just won of his querky thinks that we've grown to love. Or not.

    I think Yost is crazy to put Clark in the 3 hole, but it's very nice to see him get more and more flexible. Now if he can get over his man crush of Clark he'll be set!

    OK, so let's figure out what hits actually count. First, in all games that a team loses, hit's don't count at all. Second, hit's that do not result in a run or RBI don't count. Lst, hits that mearly add to a lead don't count, since the team would have won anyway. So as you can see, Overbay is really only hitting .059!
