  1. With his pitch count limitation, Greinke might not make it out of the first. Yeesh.
  2. I know it's only registering 93 on the gun, but that fastball pops.
  3. Not only that, but he saw the mound so rarely you'd think he kicked Ned Yost's dog. Three prospects for 25 1/3 innings pitched?
  4. Hanson has really gotten away with some cupcakes today - that pitch Braun hit had Second Deck written all over it.
  5. The sooner RRR realizes that Kotsay is useless, the better. I was very disappointed to see the change to remove Hart. If you want to pull Hart for an outfielder who can't hit, fine, at least pick the one that can field.
  6. It sure seems like when the starter has a poor game that the relievers come in and pour gas on the fire, even though I know it's no more frequent than when the starter pitches well.
  7. My pick for disappointing player of the year is looking correct so far. Gallardo is so frustrating. Greinke can't get here soon enough. It would also be nice if this so-called offensive juggernaut of a team could score some runs now and again.
  8. Yo is working fast, throwing first pitch strikes, and getting swings and misses. If he can keep this up (I just knocked on my wood desk), it could be a really good outing.
  9. I watched the game last night with my family, and when they showed that, I said "calls like that have people begging for electronic strike zones." Sure, the Brewers should have scored more runs, but when the ump misses a called strike three one pitch before the game-winning hit, it's hard not to blame the ump. A strike is a strike, and that was a strike.
  10. I use the free version, too. It's great for class - I have a tiny little laptop that's really slow, and a PC at home, so I can take my notes on my laptop and then organize/review them at home on my PC. I also use it to share documents/e-books with friends.
  11. Is Cordero perfect against the Brewers since he left? I think he is. Screw you, Ken Macha. What does this have to do with Ken Macha? I don't know, and I don't care, but I can't figure out who's most to blame for this loss, and I hate that guy.
  12. Would you look at that? It's a double switch. RRR knows how they work after all.
  13. It'd be nice to have a walk-off. McGehee-Fielder-Hart coming up - pretty good chance to do so.
  14. Cory's call made it sound like Prince put the Brewers ahead. Well, McGehee with the walk - Corey now has a chance to do some damage. Get hot, Corey Hart.
  15. Cincy is really good on offense, but we're even putting their bad hitters on to lead off innings. This is a long game. Between Gallardo trying to share seven or eight pitchers with every batter, and Sam LeCure breaking for tea between each pitch, it's taking us forever to get this over with.
  16. I wonder if the fans at redfan.net curse Jordan Smith the same way we curse Sean Green. I hope so - way to go, Rickie!
  17. Yes, there is logic in this, but every day Green is in the bullpen instead of Kintzler it's risking giving away a winSorry - that should have been in blue. I think it's stupid. Cut the Kotsays and Greens and Almontes. Call up good players, service time/options be damned.
  18. I'm guessing we send down Kintzler because we can maintain control of him. Remember - it's better to hold onto roster junk that someone could claim (no matter how impossible the thought) on a DFA than to put a quality player on the roster who has an option remaining.
  19. Yo just picked up two earned runs he really didn't deserve. Why is Green pitching in a high-leverage situation?
  20. The first baserunner was due to a broken-bat squibber, and he threw a beauty of a strike for ball three. That's the kind of call that makes fans beg for Questec.
  21. I was wondering why they didn't just double-switch out the third baseman - Janish is a much better fielder than Renteria.
  22. Third on the list of active pitchers in career home runs is pretty close to the top. I loved Betancourt's slide - that directly broke up the double play.
