I thought it was hilarious that the Padres went to a lefty specialist against Kotsay, and he worked a walk anyway! If you have Boggs in, why not pull Kotsay and move Boggs to left so you don't have... oh, never mind. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I get too negative reading and posting. I'm taking a Brewers (and brewerfan) break until Thursday. Hopefully they get a win by then, or score more than three runs in that time frame. I'm not picky.

I hear you. I also dislike the sacrifice bunt as a matter of course. You want to trust your bullpen, but with RR managing his bullpen like Ned Yost lately, I guess you need to play for the multi-run inning, even if the hitters don't accommodate.

What happened to Tony Plush? Anyway, this is a situation when I'm okay with the sacrifice bunt. It didn't work out, but one run makes a huge difference, and you want Weeks in scoring position for Braun and Fielder.

I think the noise on WTMJ is somebody shrieking. As for Beachy, I think the Braves got lucky on him. They might have the best pitching scouts in the game, though, so it could be a brilliant pickup.

Am I the only one who hopes Boggs declines the assignment and becomes a free agent? I'm tired of the "keep the crappy player, send down the one we can control" decisions, and if all the players sent down keep getting claimed/opt for free agency, maybe the Brewers will finally decide to just put the best players on the field and cut the roster fat. -
At the very least it'll probably take three innings for Hudson to reach Greinke's first-inning total.
