  1. Ding, dong, the Turnbow's gone, the awful Turnbow's gone!!!!!! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! He's gone!!! He's gone!!! If you couldn't tell, I'm ecstatic. My day has been made! Welcome back Joe, and buh-bye Derrick.
  2. Why is Turnblow still on the team?
  3. So.....I'm guessing Turnbow did NOT pitch?
  4. No doubt about it. I don't understand why Turnblow still has a job for the Brewers. He's got to have pictures of someone.
  5. Yeah, Inman's been pitching well here. I'm hoping to get to one of his games soon.
  6. I don't think ANY team would trade for Turnblow. He's damaged goods in EVERY sense of the phrase. Just release him.....go ahead.....MAKE MY DAY!!!! Please!!
  7. They must be waiting for the right moment.....any time now would be good.
  8. Then again, no. He's got to go NOW! If his "fragile" psyche makes him not like being booed, what does it mean to that psyche that he gave up 6 runs? He's done. The only way that something can be salvaged for him is a change of scenery, maybe. I think hitters have caught up to him and he's getting beaten like a rented mule. ANYONE would be better than Blow at this point.
  9. He had to have had one of the better first games of any Brewer free agent signing! Awesome game and I'm loving the fact that the Crew were taking the ball the other way and actually getting guys on base and driving in runs!
  10. Estrada sighting....catching for the Nats....apparently his excuse now is that he's got a sore elbow. Still sucks. Reminds me how much I loooooooooooooooooove Jason Kendall.
  11. I guess that works, if you look at it that way. Or it's the government giving your money back to you (which I wish they wouldn't take so much in the first place!)
  12. I'm ecstatic for this game. The dreaded Scrubs, Sheeter proving to all of us that he's not a wuss (fingers crossed), Cammy showing that he's worth the money he's getting and a win for the Crew. This, to me, does have an opening day #2 feel to it.
  13. I owed money, am making payments, but when I did it with Turbo Tax, it computed my refund ($688, much less than the "up to $1200 for married couples") and had me fill out my bank info for direct deposit.
  14. I sure hope so....Counsell as the sole backup infielder makes me quite nervous.
  15. Just a matter of buying stuff you can pay for....don't get into credit card debt. From one who is in the midst of trying to dig out of the hole, don't do it. Live within your means. Follow Dave Ramsey's advice....if you live like no one else, you can live like no one else. Congrats Jwill, way to go!
  16. What else are they going to spend all those millions of dollars on???? Really expensive crazy suits? (See Kobe's suit after their last game) More expensive cars that they'll rarely drive? A bigger house? I mean, once you've got 8 Beamers, Benzes and the like, a 50,000 square foot house, and everything you could ever want....why not smoke pot? Even though the league doesn't want you to.....oh well, say it's during the off-season....that will make it better.
  17. There must be a lot of people at the game, because it's pretty quiet.
  18. What is eating for the cycle?? All the sausages?
  19. Can this game start now??? I'm ready.
  20. How is it that you can cheat, get caught, lose your job, and basically (somewhat) get a promotion? I don't get it.
  21. To quote Axl Rose, "All we need is a little patience"....with Moyer, they've got to wait for their pitches, and be patient. If they do that, good things will happen.
  22. Wow. Gabe was a guy who didn't have an overabundance of talent, but worked hard and did the best he could. I hope he does well in the AL.
  23. He was a tight end in college....the Packers are in the market for a tight end....maybe he's thinking about a career change?
