  1. Me neither. I didn't want to see him start the inning, but keeping it under 120 is good. What is the difference.. it is the Yankees who are going to have to pay for it next year when he blows out his shoulder in june.. I figure we just got back 20 of the 500 he owes us from last September when he was out with a split end.
  2. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif This crow needs a little ketchup..
  3. I have very limited experience dating Playboy models but I think I could figure it out if given an opportunity.
  4. If it wasn't 3K cameron behind him it wouldn't be.. ok I will revise: Kapler Dillon Braun Fielder Hart Branyan Rivera Hall And while I know that Russ will keep banging on the drum of Kapler and Branyan suck until they start to fall off (mid-July) the fact of the matters they are both hot right now and it more likely over the next week or so they stay hot then not though over the season they will obviously trend towards the norm. I don't see Atlanta sitting Chipper Jones because he is hitting 100 points above his career average. As for Dillon not being able to play second, if the Brewers could live with Weeks there or Hall at 3B, I don't see the big drop-off to Dillon. Of course it is a moo point because we don't set the lineups... EDIT: Started 4 of's.. thought it was softball for a second though Kapler is so awesome he could probably catch.
  5. In both those lineups Prince would get walked 4 times.. would have been better to start Kapler and hit him behind prince and put Hall at SS and Dillon at 2b and let Dillon hit 2nd.
  6. Ok.. I can't figure how Braun got from 2nd to home so fast.. the amazing thing is that he not only scored but he did so easily.. it wasn't even close.
  7. Most Pleasant Surprise: 3TO - Russell Branyan.. not a prospect but the thread said players. Leas Pleasant Surprise: Ford, Fermaint, Brewer, Rogers (thought he would be at leasting pitching)
  8. How many games are left in the first half for each team?
  9. Just go to milwaukeebrewers.com and clickn on the Gameday link. after loading you will see a tab in the upper right for videos next to boxscore.
  10. I really thought we would see a 2b or HR from Braun there to make a run at the cycle today.. I would stand within 30 feet of Kapler right now.. he is radioactive.
  11. The Cubs are the only team that's been hotter than the Brewers this past week or so. Yes.. but the last thing you know a veteran cubs team wants is a young team catching fire and gaining confidence.. just think if Weeks started to hit...
  12. Hey Cubs fans.. do you here that sound? It is the Brewers coming.. Don't get caught on standing on the track when the train is coming through!
  13. They should be up on Gameday in a couple of minutes.
  14. I feel like all of sudden the Brewers have been replaced by the Huntsville Stars.. was that just Escobar who scored on Gamel's triple.. .Laporta due for a homerun here.
  15. Now introducing: Mike Cameron - 2008 late inning defense replacement for Ryan Braun.
  16. Mr. Cameron.. please look for a comfy seat next to Mr. Hall for awhile.
  17. That never has and never will be a concern of mine.. they count the same on the scoreboard..
  18. They might score a run or two.. though I would swap Weeks and LaPorta..
  19. If you took the Huntsville lineup and dropped them into the AL for a season.. (Letting Parejo play OF and Laporta DH) how many runs could they put up? I think they could score 700-750.. They scored 15 tonight withouth Errecart.
  20. The interesting part of the MJS Game Report is they are only 2 games behind last year's hot start. Amazing considering the have had 2 meltdowns in the pen (Turnbow, Gagne), 2 significant pitching injuries (Gallardo, Riske), and 25 game suspension (Cameron) and 6 starters playing below expectations (Weeks, Cameron, Fielder, Hart, Hardy, Hall). I put Fielder and Hart on the list because they have had a lack of power so far but that looks to be changing. Not to mention that they lived on the road before this homestand and had an interleague series against the world champs.
  21. If Hall wants to play everyday I know a club with a huge hole at 3b.. Nashville.. maybe a month of hitting .240 against AAA pitching will convince him Milwaukee is not that bad.
  22. We might be able to get Chad Moeller and Johny Estrada for Hall AND Hardy with the way hall and hardy are hitting this year. I don't see where the market is for either of them unless as someone mentioned you can get the Twins to take Hall.. I would think Hardy would be a decent fit for Boston with the Monster.. Other than that don't see much of a market for either right now.
  23. I am about 2 more months of .250 average... no power.. average defense from voting Escobar.
  24. Cameron has an $10 million club option for next year. The issue is outside of Hart they don't have a long-term CF answer.. . unless a Hall/Weeks trade brings one back. I think a Hart -> Gamel -> Braun -> Fielder -> Laporta lineup might score 900+ runs even if you batted Counsell 6th, 7th, and 8th.
