  1. Yep, same thing over and over with a BOC in the middle. Funny!
  2. Do you all consider Secret Stadium Sauce barbeque? It is good, I wouldn't consider it in the barbeque family.
  3. 50-cent pieces. Saved them all I think. I will probably do the same for my kids someday.

    Lost?

I wasn't expecting Michael to have made it completely off the island and then directed to get onto the boat by the others, who evidently can come and go from the island to rendevous with their boyfriends--with what means of transportation, I don't know. I figured he'd follow the coordinates which would lead him to this boat. And now not another episode until April 24? Did I see that right?
  5. I played Madden 2008 online with the Wii. It was quite laggy for me, but it was my first online experience ever, so that may be the norm?
  6. I do not think it is better than MVP'05. The graphics get me. Not my thing. I do like that games go pretty quickly and you can sim as much of the game as you want and play the last few innings if you want. Neat features. But I like my baseball more realistic.
  7. I am in, and a reminder that there are only a couple hour left to sign up...

    Lost?

I didn't catch the date on the tombstone being the date of the crash. Was it in chinese? Hurley wouldn't fly all the way out to visit it if he knew Jin was still alive.

    Lost?

I'm curious: Does Jin die on the escape from the island? Is he one of many who do and only 6 return alive? Or does he die some random death on the island and he leaves the island posthumously. We know of one additional death...the coffin at the end of last season I think. So I'm assuming Michael is Ben's spy and wrote the letter to Sayid & Desmond to not believe the captain. The captain suggests the dead bodies from the staged plane crash came from Ben somehow, that's why they're looking for him. Why would Michael be Ben's spy though? Was it some deal for Walt? Anyone have ideas?
  10. FYI: I have never ordered from any of these people, nor do I have any of these products. So I can't say whether they're any good or not. I've been looking to buy some protectors for a while, but haven't settled on one yet. I'll probably end up with a few of the UltraPro ones www.ultrapro.com. They don't sell them on their site that I can see, but they do list the retailers, so you might be able to find a store in your area that carries ultrapro products. For the screwdown: http://www.crystalcaseworks.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=MAG $39.99/ea For the tabletop: http://www.switsport.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=jqfrerr8 1 for $5, 2 for $6 For the toploader: http://www.the2buds.com/sursmagt.htm 10 toploaders for $14.95 Also check ebay for these, I think you'll find them there at times. Many sites also carry UltraPro products in general. Check around for the best price.
  11. And these guys sell a Beckett Toploader. http://www.switsport.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=jqfqkpi4
  12. I believe this is what is being referred to by JimH. It's a toploader. http://www.the2buds.com/images/RMAG.jpg I also found these screwdown acrylic ones. They're listed for $39.99/ea. http://www.crystalcaseworks.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/program_si.jpg This guy is $11.00: http://www.switsport.com/images/products/lframe-mag.jpg If you want a nice frame, then yes, you're going to pay a more for that. If it's a Braun auto, it might be worth it.
  13. I believe the answer is yes. You just need a program that will play what the tuner is receiving if the software doesn't come packaged with the tuner already. But yeah, you should have a cable feed coming from all jacks in your house/apartment whether you have a box or not (assuming they are connected to a cable splitter and not dangling unconnected). At least that is my understanding.
  14. I was amazed when I found out people paid ridiculous amounts of money for a small, torn piece of paper. I make sure to hold on to all of mine now, just in case. How sweet would it be though to have a beautiful framed collection of stubs of all of his starts in succession.
  15. Didn't memorize the score, but it's still something like brucrustu listed.
  16. Hello- I'm trying to get closer to completing my collection before the new season starts, and I get further behind. If there's anything you want, let me know. I'm really only looking for bobblehead trades, not sales. If you have some neat memorabilia you'd be willing to trade, I wouldn't mind hearing those offers as well. I'll be slightly hesitant, but I'll trade my extra full-size blues for a fair deal. If you can help me out, send me a message to my Yuku Inbox. I've traded a number of times on this site already. No worries. Thanks! 17. I'm also 25, and that list would be just about right on with mine for my lifetime of players I remember and enjoyed watching. Except maybe make Marty Conlon the other bookend for the Bucks.
  18. I have MLB Power Pros, but haven't gotten into it much. Probably because I got a Wii in November with Wii Sports, then all of a sudden got 5 games for Christmas. I spent the first couple weeks playing Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Spent a couple days play Super Mario Galaxy. A week playing MLB Power Pros and a few weeks playing Madden 2008. I also got Wii Play with the extra remote which I've played once. And I only play the Wii about 3 hrs/week, if that, but hope to get into it a little more since I have more time now. Back on topic... I think I would like the realism of 2k8 over the cartoonism of Power Pros.
  19. I like your thinking. An NCAA championship would get him there.
  20. You could probably hire a high school kid for minimum wage to be your real-life mannequin and he'd fill out the jersey a little better. If it was me, I'd probably frame it as nicely as possible. Then again, it is only Damian Miller, so I'd be reluctant to spend that kind of money on a frame for his jersey. One you get the head, belt, etc and fill him out a little bit I think it'll look better. But I wouldn't put him in my living room. Only in a memorabilia room where he'd look cool.
  21. With the retirement of Brett Favre, who will be considered Wisconsin's next great professional sports legend after Molitor, Yount, White and Favre? When I think about it, I'm trying to think of who would be the next to have their number retired for their respective team. That's what would make them a legend to me. Longevity factors in which could rule out some current Brewers. Donald Driver won't end up with gaudy-enough stats. I have five guesses: Prince Fielder (front-runner, but has to stay a Brewer and if not, he has to go out on good terms and reach for some records) Ryan Braun (great first-year numbers, better than all of his teammates not on this list over there first few seasons) AJ Hawk (has to up his game, but is part of a pretty good defense collectively) Ryan Grant (not even a huge fan, but his #'s were impressive in his first year with the Packers) Aaron Rodgers (wait and see...losing Favre isn't the worst thing, he'll prove it) If forced to pick one, I'd pick Ryan Braun.
  22. I don't think he ever claims it was game-used, just an authentic jersey you'd buy from the store...which it's still not...but there's a difference there.
  23. But people are understandably upset that he is underperforming for a $14 mil/year player. (Or he is performing at his highest level and is simply overpaid.)
  24. Sell! Are you crazy!?! $400! No question you HAVE to sell now. It'll never be that high again. Just hope that yours gets the same bidding.
  25. I will likely end up spending half, saving half.
