  1. I'm not in the front offices, so its purely speculation, but they probably are on the table but the deal isn't right to make.
  2. Yet we traded Parra for arguably better than we gave up for him...
  3. My Mat Gamel Jersey Shirt sits at the bottom of my dresser drawer... never to be worn again.
  4. Rickie Weeks: Doing OBP before OBP was cool.
  5. SummerSlam and Raw have been two fantastic shows. Loving the direction WWE is going. Rollins and Ambrose are the top two performers in the company right now. Reigns needs to pick up his game to warrant this push.
  6. Magic number is 42 on both teams. Magic number = 163 - "Brewers/First Place Teams Wins" - "STL/PIT Losses (whoever is in 2nd)" http://www.dailygalaxy.com/.a/6a00d8341bf7f753ef01a73d939281970d-pi

  10. I really don't understand your line of thinking on this trade. Parra is a MUCH better hitter than Schafer and is probably a little bit better in the field.
  11. The Rays still want to compete this season and I don't blame them. Two nice, young, major league ready players.
  12. "Especially since we get Parra for next year as well, which is a nice bridge to Ramirez, Rodgers, Taylor, or some other 4th OF for the 2106 season. " If DM is planning this far out, we have a gem!
  13. Just saw that Banda was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in 2011 so they obviously liked him. He was probably a key to this deal. Update: And also just saw that BrewersAA said pretty much the same thing. Ha
  14. "Nobody is saying Parra will become the primary LF." Actually a few are saying that getting Parra means we should be trading Davis.
  15. He is an upgrade over Schafer and will be our top LH hitter off the bench. Haniger hasn't really done much since he left Low A ball. I'm not saying he is done as a prospect, but he isn't trending the right direction.
  16. Honestly, the Brewers don't need much more than that on offense. Their hitting has been really good all year, it just has slumps from time to time. All teams have that. He is a much better option to start if any of the starting guys get hurt as well. Schafer in the lineup on a daily basis is a black hole. They are not trading Khris Davis for David Price. I'm not sure what other blockbuster trade could be made. There are no rumblings of such a deal. Giving up an above average outfielder with 5 more years of control to improve the starting pitching (which is a strength for the Brewers) is very short sighted.
  17. Because we have needed a player like this all year coming off of our bench.
  18. It's not Price. I'm not worried about this move.
  19. Please no. That would cost our top 5 prospects, including Nelson. Lackey doesn't scare me.
  20. Magic number = 163 - "Brewers/First Place Teams Wins" - "STL/PIT Losses (whoever is in 2nd)" MN = 163 - 60 - 50 = 53 http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site569/2013/0725/20130725__1-nickperry_400.jpg
  21. Based on multiple websites (and my math), we are now on... http://www.usatodaysportsimages.com/image/thumb/250-225/6243378.jpg
