First Tiebreaker is head to head with all the teams that are tied, ranked in order of winning percentages. 2nd Tiebreaker is best record vs #1 seed, then #2 seed, then #3 seed, etc.

The fact that most experts picked the badgers to finish so low is also ridiculous. First of all, Bo Ryan is a great coach who always gets more out of his talent than he really should. 2nd, a team with 2 senior guards and 2 emerging stars (Leuer and Nankavil) should never have been picked to finish 8th or 9th in the B10 as I saw in may preseason projections.. Alone, that is still useless to help us predict how they would fair in another conference. I totally agree, but combining that with the other stats I mentioned should show that Wisconsin should be considered at top 10 team this season. Difficult schedule and excelling in the games that they have played.

The Badgers have the 7th hardest Strength of Schedule this season. 143rd toughest Non-Conference Strength of Schedule.

You can speculate all you want about how wisconsin would finish in the other leagues. To mean it comes down to 2 stats in determining how good a team is performing. Offensive Efficiency and Defensive Efficiency. For those of you unfamiliar with those terms, its a stat that figures out how many points a team scores per 100 possessions. The Badgers rank 22nd in the nation in Offensive Efficiency at 114 Points per 100 Possessions. The Badgers rank 6th in the nation in Defensive Efficiency at 86 Points per 100 Possessions. There are only three teams that are ahead of Wisconsin in Offensive Efficiency and have a Defensive Efficiency in the top 20. They are Kansas at 3rd in DE, Syracuse at 7th in DE, and BYU at 16th in DE. Kansas is the only team in the nation that has a better OE and DE than Wisconsin. If you need more than that to figure out how good a team is... how about Turnover Percentage. That is Turnovers per Possession. Wisconsin ranks 3rd in the nation at 15.2% Basically, what this says is that Wisconsin is one of the most balanced teams in the country. They play a slow tempo and take good shots. They can compete with any team on any day (and they are doing this without arguably their best player at this point in time). To say that the Badgers wouldn't place in the top 5 of the Big East, Big 12, or ACC is absolutely ridiculous.

BIG EAST: 7 (Connecticut 2; Syracuse 1; Marquette 1; Louisville 1; Georgetown 1; Villanova 1) Actually, its only 6 for the Big East. Marquette was in Conference USA when they made it to the Final 4.

According to the pomeroy rankings, The Big Ten actually ranks 4th in the country. 1. ACC 2. Big 12 3. Big East 4. Big 10 5. SEC 6. PAC-10 Now this is going off of the teams THIS SEASON. Maybe over a 10 year span, the big east is going to be the best, but this season, there are a lot average teams in that conference.

I don't think Jacob is Sayid. When the Man in Black/Mr. X/Esau "takes over" a body, he doesn't actually use the body of the deceased, he merely takes a image of that person. In Sayid's case, his body actually rises.

I agree that he is potentially the 3rd best hitter on the team, but I think its asking a lot from Escobar to expect that this season.

Everyone seems to not consider the fact that Harden may have not wanted to play for Milwaukee. That is a pretty big factor to weigh in.

I think this is a horrible trade for the Yankees. A-Jax would have put up just as good of numbers as Granderson and Jackson is cheaper and under control for longer. Cashman failed on this one. Well done Tigers!
