  1. If Bush wasn't in the rotation it would be a sign that Suppan was since I see no way they carry four lefties in the rotation. What's the difference between 4 RHP and 4 LHP?
  2. We are paying 14.5 million if he starts, is in the bullpen, or not on the team. Why wouldn't the brewers spend that money the most effective way possible... meaning him not on the team.
  3. I highly doubt any major roster decisions (like starting Gerut over Hart or Edmonds over Gomez) will be made based off of 25 spring training games. If they look at past years performances as well and make that decision, I'm fine with it. I'd be absolutely shocked if either Gomez and Hart weren't your Starting CF and RF to begin the season.
  4. I would lose a lot of faith in DM if he changed his mind on a roster move based off of one game... much less one spring training game.
  5. Yeah, this is a pretty weak response. Its not like no other teams will see him pitch. If he did well enough to be picked up by another team, he will be.
  6. Dude... I agree with you. I am just saying that arguing that he does not have many RBIs or Runs is not going to get you very far. Especially on an intelligent board like BF.net.
  7. So more or less James, you are saying that CC doesn't hit extra base hits, which is reflected in his SLG which is something he controls.
  8. In the case of Craig Counsell: he has been an unproductive offensive player for the majority of career by virtually any reasonable standard. I don't think anyone will argue with you on that. But its because of statistics he can control, not because of RBIs and Runs. His career OPS+ is 81. That is definitely below average.
  9. Of any of the players on the Brewers current roster or close to being on the roster, I'd say Mat Gamel is the closest to a typical #2 hitter that we have.
  10. You do need players on the bench for practices. Its hard to run a practice with only 10 guys. I'm not sure how much it would cost to get strictly practice players, but i think you get my point.
  11. That is definitely the backup plan.
  12. I am in a volleyball tournament tomorrow and I just found out today that I need to have numbers on all my team's shirts. Does anyone have a suggestion where I can find something like this that can be done in a day? Thanks in advance.
  13. How about who has the most Web Gems?
  14. I guess Melvin was right not to offer Arby to this guy. We would have really overpaid had he accepted.
  15. At least this year the Bucks could be in the middle of a playoff run. Most years this is a very frustrating situation.
  16. In years past, one game out of the four would be a Premium Game and you would get that at the normal ticket price. That doesn't seem to be the case this year.
  17. It should be noted that Corey Hart is a former All Star and that was probably a point made by Corey's representation. It should also be noted that we Brewer Fans voted him in as the Last Man. Clearly, it is the fault of us Brewer fans that Corey Hart is making and extra .7 Million this season.
  18. hey stout... i'm just not finding time to keep up with this league. Its a busy time at work for me. I apologize and enjoyed the first season. Best of luck to everyone.
  19. but zzzmanwitz, do you attend volleyball matches? I did when I went to school there, but alas I have moved away and don't get to many games anymore.
  20. Hockey fans are the only true fans at Wisconsin. I may even throw in Women's Volleyball. (This is only Student sections that I'm referring to, not general public).

  22. I understand your point stalton, but just want to clarify. Gonzaga was on a neutral court.
  23. There are co-champions. We are just talking seeding for the Big Ten Tournament. What do you mean circular logic? Say you have teams 2-5 all tied. The first tie breaker would be combined record of all games between those four teams. This weeds out teams 2 and 5, 3 and 4 are still tied. The next tie breaker would be teams 3 and 4 records vs the #1 seed, then the new #2 seed, and then the #5 seed, then 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. I don't know the next level of tie breaker. I have a hard time believing it could ever get that far.
  24. Only Conference winning %.
