  1. What looked good about the signing at the time (no speedo jokes, please)? It was cheap. It was basically just a contract to try out. Brought a team guy that didn't expect to play everyday, just compete. Had he not performed, he would have been the first to go.
  2. I can't believe there were people that were upset over signing kapler this offseason. What a pickup by melvin!
  3. mine didn't have any info, it was frozen on reynolds 3rd pitch
  4. is anyone else having issues with mlb gameday?
  5. I don't support the Tulowitzki pick, to me he seems like a player that is greatly helped by the field he plays on. Sure his defense is good, but so is Escobar (who was mentioned earlier). I would have taken Zimmerman, Garza, Bucholz, and Gordon all before Tulo.
  6. Owings should really be batting in the 2 hole....
  7. How come Ned doesn't take a page out of Arizona's book and bat the pitcher 8th when he is a better hitter than who would be the 8th batter.
  8. Rivera has done just what I thought he would. He is a nice backup that will not kill the team like Bad Chad on past Brewer teams. I know, I know.... this is old news but............. HEY! Didn't Moeller hit for the cycle???
  9. I think its a choice between Zimmerman, Garza, and Clement. Clement could be a starting C next season the way he is tearing up AAA. Zimmerman fills the hole at 3rd, assuming Gamel can't play the position, and Garza is a solid 4 with 2/3 potential. All that being said, I think I would have to go with Clement first, then Zimm, then Garza.
  10. Rocky Balboa
  11. Since I am up, I am torn between Jay Bruce, Matt Garza, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Jeff Clement. Clement is absolutely raking in AAA right now, but looking at my team today, I feel like our biggest weakness is in the OF. Hernadez, Bedard, and Washburn are solid the starting rotation and I already have an Ellsbury type in Ichiro. That leaves me with my pick... Jay Bruce, OF.

  16. As said above, this is a thread of who should be in the ASG, not who will be.

  18. Braun has played about 100 games of LF in the past 10 years. For as "well" as he's done in that short amount of time, I think he could eventually transition to CF. That being said, I'd rather see Hart play CF. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. Is this who we think it SHOULD be, or what we think it WILL be?
  20. Since this is coming up this week, I thought I would post to give everyone a friendly reminder.
  21. My Bran-Crush just grew exponentially hearing that fact.
  22. this is correct, an error still counts as an AB, he had both 4 ABs and 4 PAs.
  23. That's why I said solid, not amazing.
