  1. Daryle, do something against someone other than us, please. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. Intentionally walking Fukudome is probably the best thing that could happen for us. Provided Koyie Hill doesn't hit into a DP someone decent has to bat, unless Lou goes nuts and pinch hits Jason Marquis or something.
  3. Casey, bunt so Lou can PH for Fukudome. lol
  4. Good job being crappy, Bob. Hoffpauir doesn't get to bat this inning. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  5. Now I know the pain of Cubs fans watching Bob Howry. Guh.
  6. Cubs bullpen giving me the rut rohs right now. Please get through this inning, Howry?
  7. Someone please tell Jeff Suppan not to pitch to Micah Hoffpauir tomorrow. Did he switch jerseys with Aramis Ramirez so Aramis could feign playing 1B?
  8. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o254/gjenkins05/yoyo2.jpg Yovani Gallardo is serious business. Great to see Yo back!
  9. At least the Mets are getting the ball out of the infield? lol The momentum has to be on our side big time provided the Cubs hold on. Mets face Harden tomorrow, we get Yo back, life can be very good for the next 24 hours.
  10. I hope Albert Pujols doesn't watch SportsCenter, he might put a fist through his TV.
  11. I hate Aramis Ramirez with the passion of many men, although I'm not surprised he just jacked one out in that situation.
  12. Yay Ryan Theriot! Way to be a pain in the butt to someone not the Brewers.
  13. Hooray, OBP! Amazing what happens when you take your walks.
  14. Corey Hart has been brutal all month. Weeks looks a lot better at 7 than he ever did at leadoff. He looks more comfortable.
  15. Lets go CC! I am a bit worried about starting him on 3 days rest two starts in a row, but hopefully he can get the job done. Lets hope on the other side of the scoreboard Big Z is fired up to erase that poor outing he had against the Cardinals on Friday.
  16. It sucks Lamb isn't eligible for the postseason roster. I'm impressed Cameron put the bat on the ball. It would be huge to keep pace tonight.
  17. I feel dirty cheering for the Cubs, but it is kind of fun because you actually get to see "in play, run(s)" on more than a HR, lol.
  18. Thank you 2008 Milwaukee Brewers for 5 months of fantastic baseball. Yes, you have disappointed me thoroughly in September. Yes, you have once again played with my emotions only to pull my heart out and smash it (after swinging and missing a few times, of course), but you've been a large part of my summer and I will hold on to those good memories just as these September memories will haunt me. I will remember the Russ Branyan bomb off of Joe Nathan in the 9th inning, the block parties, Ryan Braun's homer on his bobblehead day, JJ's walk off hit on his, and Ben Sheets' CG against the Giants on Prince Fielder bobblehead day. The snow will come and the pain will fade, and in 2009 hope and optimism will spring once again.
  19. I'm sure. I wonder if Suppan will say his elbow never really healed but he tried to grit it out. We know Riske was pitching for a month plus with a bone chip which rendered him ineffective, and Sheets has been pitching with a bum elbow so it isn't out of the realm of plausibility.
  20. Even Johnny Cueto realizes Prince has negative range at 1B. Awesome.
  21. And a lot of people thought Svuem was a terrible 3B coach. Iorg needs to stop waiving everyone home, that's the second time in three days someone has been nailed at the plate and it hasn't even been close.
  22. Cueto's .024 batting average is the first spot of levity I've seen in a Brewers game in a while. Maybe that should go in the silver lining thread, lol.
