  1. I have PS3. When Vasgersian was like "and we have a break in the action now as a beach ball has come on the field" I was like "LOL, what?" and as I watched Corey Hart attempt to pick up the beach ball and carry it off the field I couldn't help but laugh.
  2. The Show apparently really tried to incorporate the entire game atmosphere this year. Not only did the Cubs fans throw my home run back, but later in the game a beach ball came on the field and Corey Hart had to carry it off. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  3. Apparently I figured out what I needed to do with hitting HR's. Not having as much of a problem anymore. I just had an epic 11 inning spring training game with the Cubs. Sheets had a poor start, the game was tied at 3 in the 7th when Cappy gave up a run. Corey Hart got the run back with a double and scored on a sac fly in the 8th. Salomon Torres pitched 3 innings of scoreless relief and in the 11th inning the Cubs put in Dempster who promptly gave up 5 runs. It was a pretty hilarious implosion. I had 5 hits and 3 walks in the inning and left the bases loaded. Joe Dillon started it with a single, eventually Bill Hall sac flied him in and the floodgates opened. It was even better watching it all again via the replay vault, lol. How is everyone else doing now that we're a week off the release?
  4. I am struggling to hit home runs, but overall I can't complain too much. Hitting is a lot more realistic in this game than it was in 2007 where I could regularly hit bombs with everyone not named Craig Counsell (and even he had his fair share). The computer is a lot more scrappy at the plate, too. Especially good hitters.
  5. I really like the graphics on the PS3 version. I played a bit last night. The Brewers as a whole are pretty good, even though their game ratings don't particularly show it.
  6. It really depends on what place you get it from. GameStop by my house told me they'd have it when they open. I probably will go pick up my copy in a bit. I am interested to see how good Braun, etc. are and if I have to make all of the defensive changes with Braun to LF, Hall to 3B.
  7. Now Cappy can be like Ben Sheets, he just doesn't know how to win when it matters. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  8. Chris Capuano won a game. Everyone can come off the ledge now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  9. I'd anticipate they start LaPorta at Huntsville and if he does well he may get a mid-season call up to Nashville with a possible cup of coffee in September, more likely if the 'crew is out of contention than if they're in.
  10. I really missed baseball. Just hearing Ueck and Powell is making this a good day, lol.
  11. So, interesting question. Who will have more home runs at the end of the year, Jason Kendall or Yo? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif If Yo stays healthy, I'd go with Yo. LOL
  12. He is clutch. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. Not much more you can ask for than listening to Uecker and Powell on a Sunday afternoon. The only thing that'd make everything right would be for it to be warm enough to sit outside with the grill fired up. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. Poetry? I pass Haiku's are where the fun is This I recognize
  15. All I can say about tonight's episode is wow. Talk about making things even more interesting. It definitely gives Faraday some credibility as a character instead of him being just some random guy from the freighter.
  16. We are doing that thing again where we score a lot early and then stop scoring. New year, same old Brewers. . . . at least I know my sarcasm isn't rusty! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  17. If you even feel the need to ask, then you already know the answer to that question: yes.
  18. As once said by Davey Nelson, I only have three words for Claudio: pound that meat! Ah, I missed baseball. :D
  19. I wanted to watch the youtube video of Wise hitting his head again, but they took it down after the article linked it! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I'll always wish Wise the best, he was one of my favorites.
  20. Bill Hall. Having a productive Hall would be a great asset to an already offensively intimidating team. I doubt it will happen, but Jason Kendall rebounding from his poor year last year would have a nice impact on the team. Capuano rebounding would be helpful as well.
  21. This is more of a "youth will be served" motif. I couldn't add everyone so I had to be selective.
  22. That was pretty funny. He looked all sad when they told him he was traded. Jenkins still doesn't look right in that red and grey, lol.
  23. I was thinking about this the other day. I figure if they were going to bring it back they'd have announced it by now. I definitely won't miss it, personally.
  24. I have been playing around on Google Maps the last few days after I noticed the new street view feature, the last time I used GM they only had the satellite view. The street view is really helpful for finding places, though.
