  1. Two runners on and no outs and Livan gets out of it. Kind of reminds me of yesterday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  2. I had a feeling that would happen. *sigh*
  3. I so called that infront of my TV, lol. DD, get Menched. haha
  4. 4-2 now on a Vizquel single. Finish them off, Giants.
  5. I hope we don't look back on that inning and cringe later.
  6. I agree with that. If they are that concerned about keeping his innings down, just baby him and keep him infront of a guy like Suppan who you expect to suck innings whether he is pitching well or pitching awfully. I'd say let him go now and get him some rest down the stretch when we'll have the extra arms to do it.
  7. UW-Milwaukee class of 2004 for my Bachelors in Psychology. UW-Milwaukee class of 2007 for my Master's in Educational Psychology. I worked in retail to pay bills, now I am trying to find a job in my field as a counselor/advisor. Not as easy as I'd thought it would be, but I love what I do nonetheless. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  8. http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/4972/counsell3dn4.jpg
  9. Ned has been quick on the trigger lately. Shouse, do your job please.

  11. I have an irrational fear of Aaron Cook. Maybe it is because he's a sinkerballer. Prove me wrong, Brewers. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. Of course the sky is falling, Ben Sheets is injured! This was an awesome game to win. Great job by Yo. I must say I'm surprised Yost pinch hit with Graffanino knowing his tendency to let guys redeem themselves, but it was the right call and worked out. Now if only we can figure out how to hit Aaron Cook tomorrow we can get a series win. Suppan is pitching tomorrow, Ned won't pull him before the 7th.
  13. Ben, you know the drill by now, I don't think I have to tell you what you need to do.
  14. I think that is what a lot of people get at with a team relying too much on HR's, yeah. Scoring for a 15 game span might go something like 5, 2, 2, 1, 3, 6, 8, 3, 12, 3, 4, 1, 0, 7, 3 and that is what gets at some people. The overall runs average would be right around 4, but in those games the team would score less than 3 runs 5 times, and 3 runs 4 times, so 9 out of 15 games they'd score 3 runs or less. I remember hearing earlier in the season when we were going through that 10-20 stretch we'd scored 3 or less runs in something crazy like 15 of 21 games. When a team relies on HR's a lot some people feel the situational hitting also is lacking, which is a whole other argument in itself.
  15. The Bucks demise began the day they traded Ray Allen in my opinion. It is disappointing, but at the same time not a whole lot can be done in the grand scheme of things.
  16. One way I can see people making the "clogging the bases" argument would be if a slow-footed batter is batting behind a slow-footed OBP machine. For this scenario, think Gabe Gross batting infront of Johnny Estrada. The possibility Estrada will hit into a DP is much higher because Estrada himself is slow, and Gross isn't exactly the fastest guy around. The other example given with Miller/Weeks is also one way people could argue clogging the bases is bad, but I think in general the more baserunners a team has the better probability they will eventually score runs, provided the other batters in the lineup are capable of driving them in.
  17. Pujols batting with the bases loaded should have been a no brainer though. If he gets a hit, the game is over. If he walks, the game is tied and worst comes to worst Pujols or Dimitri Young can play LF and Soriano can move to center. If he makes an out, the game is over.
  18. Yosted. Oh wait. I don't understand why LaRussa didn't use Pujols, even though that means Dimitri Young would have had to play outfield. Meh. lol
  19. Eric Byrnes is in the cove with his dog, hahaha. Nice.
  20. I always used to see this one on my way to work and it made me laugh: ICUH8N
  21. I think Prince should have taken Homer Me Elmer to throw to him I don't think Prince will mess up his swing too much. Prince has a natural home run swing, so if he just swings normally he should be fine.
  22. Pessimism tells me to say 8-10, but I am hoping we can at least go 10-8 or 11-7.
  23. I was going to predict someone hits a solo home run in the 9th, but with Estrada, Gross, and Gwynn, I'll settle for a ball out of the infield. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
