  1. That's how to break out of a slump! Give some of that juju to Nelson.
  2. Here's the lineup from TH's blog: 2B Rickie Weeks 3B Craig Counsell LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder CF Mike Cameron RF Corey Hart SS J.J. Hardy C Jason Kendall RHP Jeff Suppan
  3. Did weeks pause before he ran or did the ball ricochet off the backstop? I don't get home they were able to throw weeks out.
  4. Listening on the internet. Can someone explain that last play.
  5. Also, they didn't care for the untuckem thing. But much like the Pirates' anger, it all has to do with getting owned by the Brewers last year. It's not much fun when the beat upon becomes the beater.
  6. I have a feeling this is all gonna come up again in St. Louis in a couple weeks. I hope the Brewers realize the futility of getting in these types of fights and just take the inevitable bean ball coming from LaRussa and Co.
  7. There is only one thing I love more than a home run in a Luxaire Home Run Inning. And that's two home runs in a Luxaire Home Run Inning!
  8. I'm with rulz. Look how long Mota was just terrible last year and ended up having a nice stretch in the second half.
  9. This is so dumb. No we're being punished for waht the pirates pulled two games in a row.
  10. Gitto's is definitely very good. My wife and I went there for V-Day and it was great. There are a bunch of great places on the Hill including a place called Zia's which is a little more casual. If you are a BBQ guy I would highly recommend Pappy's Smokehouse. It's a bit off the beaten path, but it's only a few miles north east of the stadium. http://www.pappyssmokehouse.com/ Before the game, I would recommend going to the Hilton or Mike Shannon's Steakhouse which are both two blocks north of the stadium and have some nice outdoor bars. Also, be forewarned. People around here are nice but they still have a bug up their butt about the whole untuckem/Braun staring/Hall spitting series last year.
  11. Or maybe he's doing it to play to people like me, who thinks the superstition is stupid. I loved it.
  12. So do you just leave Stetter in until at least Ibanez, considering two of the next three Phillies are lefties. I would assume Swindle and Julio are the end of the pen options, and I still don't trust Julio here.
  13. For people who think the superstition might be the dumbest thing ever, Anderson is actually extremely amusing.
  14. I like him thus far too, but he was pretty awful against lefty hitters last year. I'm not sure he's a better option than McClung.
  15. People can hate on Rickie Weeks all they want, I still don't get the amount of venom, tho. But even the staunchest haters have got agree that is one tough dude.
  16. Yes, nice. Reminds me of when the Brewers were the young upstarts that might surprise people. Time to take the first lead of the season.
  17. For those watching: How did Rickie Weeks look on the turn on that DP?
  18. OK, I'm sold on Weeks v. 4.0. I'm getting my No. 23 jersey when I get home to Milwaukee this weekend. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
