While Dessens' ERA was in the 3's a couple outings ago, that doesn't take into consideration the massive amount of inherited runners he let score once he came into the game. He's like the Bizarro Shouse. I wouldn't mind seeing Homer Me Elmer DFA'd in favor of another middle relief arm, to say the least. Losing a series definitely bites (almost forgot what it felt like), but I can cope with losing a series against the Mets better than I can against the Cubs. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif While it's true that the Brewers have to beat teams like the Mets to prove that they're "for real", I think the Brewers showed they could stick around in this series...after all, it wasn't really the Beltrans or the Wrights that beat the Brewers, but guys like Damion Easley and Oliver Perez (who, to be fair, has some wicked stuff when he's on). Hopefully the bats wake up in Philly...that bandbox may be just what some of the struggling bats need to get back into the swing of things.
