    Here's to hoping Villy pitches both the 7th and the 8th. I'd like to avoid Turnbow in this game if at all possible.

    Didn't JJ get caught in a rundown after hitting an RBI double a couple days ago, too? The run scored so it didn't really matter, but he wasn't exactly heads up on that play, either.

    Bill just said the reason why Dontrelle got out of those two bases-loaded innings was "because he knows how to win." Excuse me while I hit my head against my desk repeatedly.

    Anderson has been hanging around Bill too long...basically gave away the trivia question. Miggy and Willis are the only two I can think of that was on that 2003 WS team. Edit: Is Counsell the third?

    I'm trying to decide which would be worse to have up in the 9th inning while trailing...Counsell-Graffy-Gwynn or Mench-Graffy-Gwynn as a pinch hitter. It'd be nice if Mench could duplicate his performance from earlier in this series.     Last year, Kim had two very different starts against the Brewers: Aug. 2nd @ COL -- 8 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 10 GB, 5 FB, 106 pitches (I remember this entire horrible series too clearly) Aug. 23rd @ MIL -- 5 IP, 4 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 4 BB, 6 K, 5 GB, 5 FB, 79 pitches

    Turnbow seems to be fine when he doesn't pitch in three straight games. He's at his best when he's pitching every other day or so...at least it seems that way to me.

    MENCH DIDN'T HIT INTO A DOUBLE PLAY! ALRIGHT! I was terrified he'd tap into a double play trying to avoid a strikeout...phew.

    Billy finally gets one to fall...only a matter of time before those hits start finding the gaps. Bases loaded now...let's not hit into any inning-ending double plays.
