    I've been to Yankee Stadium once for a game against the Twins, and it was definitely a different experience compared to the games I've been to at Miller Park. It was a cold, rainy day and the Yankees got 2-hit by a AAA call-up (it might've been Scott Baker, but I'm not positive) in a rain-shortened game that ended after 8 innings. As a result, the atmosphere kind of sucked towards the end of the game, but I did get a kick out of the crowd cheering randomly, then looking up at the scoreboard and seeing that they were announcing that the Red Sox lost. The Bronx isn't exactly a sexy place for a ballpark (and it was even gloomier because of the rain that day), but the concourse area outside the stadium with all the small Yankee merchandise stores were kinda cool -- especially the ones with shirts with sayings about the Red Sox that would violate the "Keeping Brewerfan Beautiful" Act of 2007. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

    From my pro wrestling-watching days as a young teen, I remember that Matt Hardy also has a brother named Jeff Hardy (their tag team was called "The Hardy Boyz" -- how original), who was ultimately fired by WWE for an alleged drug addiction. I think it was an arrest for possession of marijuana that ultimately did him in, but I'm not sure.     The TBS guys seem to think the collision between J.J. and Geoff was Geoff's fault since he didn't yell you that he got it. If that's the case, that may be Hall's problem, too -- Geoff doesn't seem to call fly balls; he just goes after them.

    Kind of weird hearing the TBS guys praising the Brewers' scouting and farm system so much this early. They even mentioned Yo...they butchered his name and called him "Yovanny Gallyardo", though. Oh well. No such thing as bad publicity, right? Edit: Casey mentioned another one. They tried saying his name about 3 times in a row and it came out 3 different ways. Kinda funny.

    At this point, I wouldn't be against moving Jenkins back into the 3-hole in between JJ and Prince. Anything to get someone, anyone, on base for Prince. What's been killing me is the fact that Prince seems to be leading off every time he comes up to the plate.

    Swept for the first time this year on the eve of Memorial Day. At least it was at the hands of a playoff-caliber team. Let's get back home and take a series from the Braves, who just spent the weekend getting whooped by Philly.

    Any word if Braun got his 1st HR ball back? Or did some jerk get it? They said last night that the fan who caught it tossed it back onto the field right away, so I assume Ryan got it back.

    With as good as Weeks was as far as hitting the ball dead on tonight, he reverts back to the Rickie before the weekend off in the final at-bat...agh. Guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, but I really wanted to see Braun up with the game on the line.
