    Quick and easy first inning for CV. It might just be the MESN picture on MLB.TV, but it looks incredibly bright at The Keg today.

    Bush hasn't had his greatest stuff tonight, but Gabe Gross has been a butcher in right tonight. Other than that, the defense has been pretty good as far as supporting Bushy goes.

    Wow...Bushy had to throw a 90 MPH heater to Prince to get that out...nice play.

    Wow...how did Fick get that rocket hit by Prince?? That had double written all over it. Edit: Still tied at 1...Simontacchi is getting pretty lucky. The Brewers are hitting him hard, but everything's staying in the park and is being hit right at defenders.

    If the Brewers lose a game this series, it would be against Shawn Hill, not Jason Simontacchi.

    I think even Bad Dave Bush could only give up 3 runs to the Nationals. I knew they were bad, but I had no idea they were *that* bad after watching Cappy cruise through tonight's game. Cappy's not the type to miss a ton of bats, either. I could be wrong, but I swear I could've counted the number of times the Nats hit the ball out of the infield on one hand.

    To be fair, Schneider is a pretty good defensive catcher. He hits like Ben Sheets, though (when he's not hitting walkoff HR's off Turnbow).

    Wow...the Nats offense is really, really bad.

    I'm sure Ben is just upset about the bullpen blowing his lead as soon as he left the game. If the bullpen would've preserved the 4-2 lead, I'm sure he wouldn't have been so grouchy.

    Why do the Pirates insist that red is one of their team colors? The National League uniforms at last year's All-Star game weren't even as ugly as the red ones they've been sporting this year...ugh.
