  1. One of the greatest benefits of another WS appearance is never seeing the 82 team again. You have more optimism on this than I do.
  2. The most annoying thing about this game so far is having an '82 Brewer in the booth. My God, get a new thing.
  3. It's not necessary but if you want you can tip like $10 per person or something.
  4. Absolutely foolish if he's not.
  5. Rob Manfred is the worst.
  6. Two of his hits were a seeing eye grounder and a fly ball that Ray lost in the sun. In fact that homer he gave up to Bour should've been a solo shot instead of 3-run. First batter reached on a strikeout that Kratz let get to the backstop, the second was the fly ball Ray didn't see so instead of pitching to Bour with two outs and nobody on he was pitching to him with two on and nobody out.
  7. These Angels announcers are 95% of why some people think baseball is boring.
  8. I think Trevor Bauer is ready for the regular season.
  9. The good news is Chase Anderson hasn't given up a home run yet (which is amazing considering there's a 20 mph wind blowing out to right field.) The bad news is this is how the first five batters went. Walk Line drive single Line drive single Walk Line drive single
  10. I don't like it. Build something now instead of living in the past. If this team wasn't dog crap for 25 years, nobody would be as vocal about bringing the logo back but since it was the logo when the Brewers had their first (and basically only) success until recently, people seem attached to it. Cut the cord.
  11. I don't think Driveline helped Josh Tomlin at all. Double Double Homer Groundout Double Fielder's Choice Homer Double Single Fly out
  12. This was going to be my response. The Royals aren't going to give up anything worthwhile for Pina to lose 94 games instead of 96.
  13. City of Philadephia has a wage tax. 3.88% So, he lives in one of the counties around Philly instead. Or a nice domicile in Delaware (NO income tax). It doesn't matter if Delaware has no income tax. His income is going to be earned in Pennsylvania mostly.
  14. Should be a big fine and suspension for at least a month (like Preller but obviously completely different circumstances.) Probably some sort of counseling/anger management involved too.
  15. I think everybody is reading way too much into this. From the font to the red being used, it is a desert after all and they probably want it to blend in.
  16. YOU GUYS ARE RUINING THE LONG HELD BASEBALL JOKE THAT STUPID STUFF ONLY HAPPENS TO THE METS.
  17. why is that? Because the Mets are the Mets and stupid stuff like this only happens to the Mets.
  18. Thought the funniest part was the beginning where Chris Rose was doing the open and Counsell came out to make a "pitching change" and have Millar finish.
  19. If Brandon Nimmo was on any other team there's not a chance this would've happened. https://nypost.com/2019/02/27/mets-outdo-themselves-brandon-nimmo-out-due-to-undercooked-chicken/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site%20buttons&utm_campaign=site%20buttons
  20. Pitching his way to DFA land, that's for sure. Surprised he's been on the 40 man this long tbh. He doesn't have good stuff and he's not young so there's really no upside with him.
