  1. I don't know why all teams don't do this. As long as you don't fumble the snap, it's almost impossible to not get 6 inches by just having your QB fall forward.
  2. Blackout concerns would only apply if the game was also on local TV, thus taking away viewers from the local broadcast. That won't be the case with the playoff game tomorrow so it should work.
  3. My main criticism of cutting Jordy instead of Cobb is that we had a replacement for Cobb in Montgomery. Yeah I get that his numbers sucked last year and he's not in his prime anymore but he was perfectly fine when Rodgers was playing. I think Adams/Jordy/Allison/Montgomery is better than Adams/Cobb/Allison/some combination of Montgomery and a mid to late round rookie receiver.
  4. They switch cameras late and the camera is never centered on the ball it seems.
  5. I don't disagree. The faster we stop comparing and talking about the 1982 team, the better.
  6. No Hader tomorrow either. Did they actually say that or is that conjecture? It's a logical assumption. How often do they use Hader on back to back days? I'm guessing they won't unless they absolutely have to.
  7. MSG is basically right smack dab in the middle of Midtown. Go to a NJ Transit vending machine at Penn Station (Midtown) and buy a roundtrip ticket to Meadowlands Station. Board the next train that has a stop at Secaucus Junction and then use your ticket to transfer to Meadowlands Service. It drops you off right at the stadium. You can also get to Midtown directly from the airport (and vice versa). Take the AirTrain monorail at the airport to the NJ Transit Newark Airport train station and transfer to a NJ Transit train. The last stop is Penn Station in Midtown. There is also a Penn Station in Newark so make sure you don't get off at that one. TRYP Times Square South is a nice hotel but it's 200+ per night. Couple blocks from MSG though.
  8. I think this forum would be able to help you more. https://www.northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2
  9. The Cubs already won tomorrow? What? The Brewers will have another game after tomorrow. I don't see why you would use Chacin on 3 days rest (has he ever done that?) when there's such a high probability you'll wish you had saved him for the Cubs or the wild card game anyway. If the Cubs lose and Brewers win the Brewers don't play until Thursday.
  10. Kikuchi sounds like something Charo would say.
  11. Can we talk about how bad that third pitch was on the hit? You already threw him two high but in the zone fastballs, he's not a good hitter, he swings at 41% of pitches out of the zone and you give him another pitch, exactly where you pitched him before without even trying to get him to chase something off the plate.
  12. Jorge De La Rosa just walked in a run. He's thrown 13 pitches. 3 have been strikes.
  13. Knebel for the 3rd day in a row and the 4th time in 5 games. What could go wrong?
  14. Not Cubs related but the Reds are 10-19 since they said they weren't going to trade free agent to be Matt Harvey because they wanted to continue their momentum to the end of the year and into next year. This includes 4 straight losses to the Marlins and Royals.
  15. My thoughts on FSGo. It's not worth the space it takes up on my phone and this is with a 64 GB SD card that provides a ton more storage than I normally would get.
  16. They would let the entire league fold before unlocking markets I mean, pissing off fans seems like a better idea I guess.
  17. Just national TV. I wonder what happens if they advance and get an MLB Network game. A lot of people don't have that. Would they put it on some other channel or "unlock" MLB Network in the market for the game only?
  18. If Roe vs Wade is overturned, Martinez won't be able to play in the outfield anymore.
