  1. Puk and Luzardo for Realmuto, LOL. This yahoo lost all credibility with that offer. Puk is out for the year and while the return from TJS is usually good, it's not guaranteed.
  2. The Mariners need at least two starting caliber outfielders, Seager to be the Seager from 2013-17 and not from 2018, literally anyone other than Ryon Healy at 1B, a couple starting pitchers, a couple relievers, a DH type bat that can replicate Cruz's production and they have to get it with almost no money to spend and no prospects to give up. Even if they manage to get all of that they still might only be the third best team in the division.
  3. Maybe those people don't drink or don't get ****-faced. I'd rather drive home than spend $100 on a hotel room. This is a strange response. Obviously, fans wouldn’t be required to get a hotel room and could choose to drive home… No it's not because the hotel would probably cater mostly to people who don't want to drive back home after a game. If people would rather just drive home, the hotel won't be successful. If I was coming from Madison or Green Bay or wherever I would drive as far as I could, hoping I could get home but stopping somewhere a lot closer so I wouldn't have to make the 1-3 hour drive the next day.
  4. Maybe those people don't drink. I'd rather drive home than spend $100 on a hotel room.
  5. Counter Counterpoint. BA needs to shut up.
  6. What possible incentive would the Tigers have for that deal? They're not getting younger, they're not saving money. They're just replacing one player with different players.
  7. There would really be no point in that because they would either allocate that money with the assumption that he's the starting 2B and not really look for a replacement. So you would basically piss away almost $2 million and back yourself into a corner with no starting 2B.
  8. Congrats on your World Series win! Let's interview some middle age white guys who did nothing other than provide money.
  9. We've seen 1B/DH types sign for basically nothing in free agency but ours is going to headline a better player at a position of need?
  10. http://freegifmaker.me/img/res/1/5/4/0/7/8/15407834111691251.gif?1540783450
  11. Machado making the last out and looking that bad doing it? http://images.clipartpanda.com/indication-clipart-c9c7a34fbed697b6a0c0ba9115f11627.jpg
  12. So we're going to have 3 outfielders in their 30s, all owed at least $40 million and only 2 will be starting? I'm going to go ahead and say no on that.
  13. Preseason rankings are as much about how the team finished the last year as they are about how they're projected to do this year.
  14. I would strongly bet against him being ranked in the top 100.
  15. Maybe a UW math professor can tutor Chryst and explain to him why these decisions to punt on 4th and short in opponents' territory are really stupid.
  16. Ian Kinsler is a dope and Puig is acting like he just hit a walk-off homer because a run scored on an error.
  17. Not a single top 100 prospect? Doubt the Royals even stay on the line with an offer like that/
  18. I just use gifs. But how do you pronounce gif? Because if you pronounce it like the peanut butter brand you're not better than anybody and we cannot be internet friends.
  19. "I'm a better fan and poster than all of you and am going to tell you how much of a better fan and poster I am."
  20. Would guess Bledsoe since he took 8 of them last night alone.
  21. A team's job on defense is to get outs. If a player hits it to a certain spot on the field far more than another spot on the field, why wouldn't you put a defender where he hits it more and take a defender away from where he rarely hits it? There's not a single thing wrong with shifting.
  22. 91.7% of the Bucks shots this year have been in the paint or for 3.
  23. It's almost like coaching matters.
