That's why I said knocking on the door of top 5. And it was more than a month ago (March 7th) but they were 15-24, 2.5 games out of the 4th worst record, 2 games out of the 5th worst record.

I would think you'd be ecstatic now that they're most likely lottery bound. Yeah, I'm ecstatic about the 12th spot in the lottery and 2.5% chance to move into the top 3 when a month ago we were knocking on the door of a top 5 pick and almost a 30% chance to move into the top 3. I'm ecstatic this franchise wasted their best asset for a numbers only win now piece who's going to either leave after next season or get way overpaid (which he already is). I'm ecstatic the owner of this idiotic franchise says the playoffs are a must and that his goal is just making the playoffs every year, which we usually fail at.

I'm liking that I picked Los Angeles over Vancouver, not so much about picking Pittsburgh to win the Cup. Bryzgalov has been pretty bad in the series but Fleury has been worse, much worse. That first goal he let in today was ridiculous. Admirals also clinched a playoff spot today with a 6-1 win over Charlotte clinching the 5th seed in the Western Conference. First round is a 2-3 format so they open at home on Friday at 7 against Abbotsford.

He's only playing because Gonzalez is on paternity leave, in case you hadn't heard that He's still going to play everytime Weeks, Ramirez or Gonzalez needs a day off because our backups consist of a backup C, two backup OF's and a backup 1B.

He can say they need a new arena but that's all he ever does about it. Just says that they need one at some point. Absolutely no leadership on the issue. And a new arena isn't going to mean a damn thing if less than 10,000 people keep entering the arena during games.

What happened? Dont get to see the game? Who hit it hard - Braun? Yes, Braun would have hit one into the street in left if the wind wasn't blowing in. The problem was he hit it really high so the wind knocked it down a ton.

Blackhawks have had trouble with the Coyotes this year. Unless Mike Smith pulls a Bryzgalov I think the Coyotes win that series and the Blackhawks winning wouldn't really be an upset anyways, they have more points than the Coyotes. I don't like New Jersey but they're much better than Florida. Florida is lucky they play in such an awful division because any other division they don't make the playoffs. Just a bunch of mediocre role players surrounded by a couple solid starters. I think New Jersey takes that series in 5.

I have New York, Washington, New Jersey and Pittsburgh escaping the 1st round, New York and Pittsburgh meeting in the ECF and Pittsburgh advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals. I have the Kings, Blues, Coyotes and Preds advancing past the 1st round, the Kings and Preds meeting in the ECF and the Preds advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals. I have the Pens beating the Preds in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Hart played in a Minor league game today. It's highly probable he will be ready for opening day. Nope, everything I've read said he'd be ready at April 10 at the earliest. From everything Melvin has said, they're hoping he's ready for opening day.
