Rondo averaged 10.5/4/5 when Boston won the championship with a .515 TS% in 30 minutes. He wasn't that great. Chalmers in his second year which is where Rondo was when Boston won it all averaged 7/2/3.5 with a .519 TS% in 25 minutes. He's not going to need to handle the ball with Wade and LeBron there. Just needs to work on his outside shot and defense and he'll be a great fit there. They also traded Beasley to Minnesota so that creates more cap space. They have three 2nd rounders, Dexter Pittman a huge center, Jarvis Varnado and Da'Sean Butler. That's already seven players plus the $5-6 million remaining in cap space. They could split that up for a couple players or get one player using that space and then get a bunch of veterans minimum ring chasers. I wouldn't be shocked if Kurt Thomas went there and he'd be a pretty good fit for them. He can hit the jumper which won't clog the lane when LeBron and Wade drive or when Bosh is posting up. They'll easily be able to fill out the roster. They already have seven players with a decent amount of cap space remaining. Pat Riley is the master.
