  1. It was fairly close, still a stupid play though. McGehee is slow and the bases were going to be loaded for Weeks. I'll take my chances on that than McGehee beating a throw home.

  3. I know, I don't expect the Brewers to go after him, but if the choice is Ibanez or Werth, I'll take Werth.
  4. I'd rather just go after Werth.
  5. It's still early, but his fastball is faster and his slider is filthy. His walks are going down and he's striking out nearly a batter per inning. I don't think he'll ever get back to where he was before Tommy John surgery, but I still think he can be really good and he's showing that now.
  6. He started two games in a row a while ago for Escobar.
  7. Getting really tired of this Counsell starting over Escobar crap.
  8. Who cares where he is? He's done, he's not coming back and even if he was okay to play (with how bad he looked after one ACL surgery, imagine how bad he would look after a second one) there's no way Hammond and Skiles would even allow him to play in a game after they saw how much the offense stagnates when he's on the court. If he can't come back, that's cool. Expiring contract 80% covered by insurance. If he can come back, he'll be T-Mac'd.
  9. It's really hard for me to watch games for them. I've seen like five before the playoffs. They were on Versus once and an alternate FSN channel that shows Wild games, so I caught them on there, but it's not enough for me to know what they do on offense or anything. Patric Hornqvist was their leading goal scorer and he scores his goals by standing in front of the net and getting deflections and rebounds. To me it looks like a lot of shots come from Weber, Suter and Hamhuis and they just try to create a bunch of traffic in front hoping the goalie can't see the puck which opens up rebound oppurtunities. I'm hoping they can get Radulov back from Russia and Colin Wilson progresses, because their offense is horrid.
  10. I hate the Red Wings and Blackhawks. Preds and Admirals eliminated on the same night. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Felt bad for Pekka, great series from him to hold down a great Chicago offense. Nashville's offense is pathetic. Dekanich had a great game and series against Chicago as well, much like Nashville save for two games, Milwaukee's offense was pathetic.

  12. Similar hitters but Prince is about 5 years younger with Boras as an agent. He's definitely going to get more than that and there's no way we should pay it.
  13. This strike zone is a joke. Nothing is called for Bush. Everything is called for Wells.
  14. Pitch right down the middle, just above the knees called a ball. Lovely.
  15. Some ridiculous comments from Melvin. Comments from Suppan as well.
  16. McCalvy says Narveson is in the rotation because of his spring and because Parra has looked so good as a reliever.
  17. The Cubs are 4-1 against us and 4-9 against everybody else. I'm tired of always losing to this team. 2B Weeks 3B Counsell LF Braun 1B Fielder CF Edmonds RF Hart C Zaun SS Escobar RHP Bush CUBS SS Theriot RF Fukudome 1B Lee 3B Ramirez CF Colvin LF Soriano 2B Fontenot C Soto RHP Wells
  18. Mark Osiecki named head coach at Ohio State.
