  1. The team concept? Come on, do you really think it's going to make a difference in the team concept if they don't wear their uniforms the same way?
  2. Brewers are losing by one with the pitcher's spot up and two out and nobody on in the 8th inning. Who would you rather have up? A guy with a chance to tie the game or a guy with the chance to only get on base where you need another hit (most likely an extra base hit) to bring him home?
  3. At 36 Kenny Lofton collected 547 at bats in 140 games and hit .296/.352/.450. He was definitely not a backup. He was a regular starter at age 40 as well.
  4. Chase Wright and Nick Green FTW!
  5. I still believe it's awful reasoning whether you're a parent or not. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Counsell got picked off trying to steal second and when he got in a rundown, Weeks tried to get home, but ended up getting caught.
  7. J.J. homers! Brewers still trailing 3-2. Of course Russell Branyan had to double right in front of the guy who hit a homer for Seattle.
  8. I bet we could convince Kenny Williams and Ozzie Guillen that Gwynn is worth Aaron Poreda or Gordon Beckham. I like the idea, I don't expect much back, if a trade did happen I'd hope for some kind of lower ceiling A ball pitcher.
  9. Uecker: "Swing and a popup. This is a popup for sure, shallow left field." I love Ueck.
  10. Best call ever by Uecker. "Corey Hart pops it up. Or did he? Sizemore back at the wall, gone! Boy, what a popup. I saw it go in the air and thought it was a popup. We have a little bit of an overcast sky today." About 30 seconds later: "Get up, get up, get outta here gone for Corey Hart!"
  11. Not really. Then all you're doing is giving your worst hitter three at bats and then giving bench players the other two. So overall your worst hitters are getting the most at bats.
  12. Weird play. Brewers infield playing in with a runner on 3rd and 1 out. Barfield hits a shallow flyball to center, Weeks would've made the play at normal depth, but couldn't get to it while playing in. Cameron picks the ball up and throws to Weeks who is back pedaling to 2nd base. The throw gets by Weeks and Hall who was backing up. Kendall sees the ball get away and runs to pick it up towards the Indians dugout, Barfield sees that there is nobody covering home plate so he rounds 3rd and heads home. Kendall tags him out about 10 feet from the plate. Just your everyday run-of-the-mill baseball play.
  13. CF - Sizemore LF - Delucci C - Martinez SS - Peralta 1B - Garko RF - Francisco 2B - Cabrera 3B - Barfield LHP - Laffey C - Kendall 2B - Weeks SS - Hardy 1B - Fielder RF - Hart CF - Cameron 3B - Hall LF - Duffy LHP - Parra Gameday Link Game is also on 620 WTMJ.
  14. My aunt and uncle got snuggies. Then when my other aunt asked them why they just didn't turn their bathrobes inside-out, they got pissed off.
  15. CF- Cain LF - Duffy 2B - McGehee 3B - Hall C - Rivera RF - Nelson 1B - Lamb SS - Escobar P - Gallardo Gameday Link
  16. Actually, looking at some other game logs, you may be right. They don't look accurate. For example, Bush's game log has him at 75 total pitches in all of his spring starts and only 25 in his last start. If he's only stretched out to 25 pitches, we're in trouble. Gallardo's at 62 pitches total in his starts and supposedly threw 24 strikes out of 24 pitches in his last start.
  17. I think Macha is probably just overreacting to Villanueva giving up five runs last night. Although I'd love to see where he got his pitch counts are in the 20s. The game log that FtJ linked to and now that logan has posted it shows that he's gone over 20 pitches once, yesterday. Before yesterday, he's averaged 1.4 innings pitched and has averaged 8.14 pitches per inning. Really don't know what Macha is looking at.
  18. Great job to get more fans into this. Put it on networks that many people don't get.
  19. Air Supply did an infomercial for Time Life Classic Soft Rock. Most of the music on it wasn't that bad, but I wanted to hit myself with a sledge hammer when they started singing "Lost In Love" after they came back from telling you how to order.
  20. It's times like this where I wish I still had that channel. Wish they would put it on FS Wisconsin instead.
  21. I don't think the team has to take him back if they don't want to. The team that took him just has to offer him back for half the price.
  22. They'd be better off just letting Towles play.
