    I believe they would be called. In fact I was watching one of those Beach Patrol shows a couple of days ago and a guy was going to get arrested for pushing his girlfriend down to the ground. She ended up being arrested after it was found out that she punched him 10-15 times in the face, but anyways, I know you could say it's a different situation with a guy pushing down his girlfriend but still, he was going to be arrested for that. I would have to imagine if people saw this in public they would probably call the police and at least a ticket would be issued with the possibility of arrest.

    Not sure why you bolded his 64 BB's in 125 innings. Parra has only two less in the same number of innings. Parra also has a 1.50 WHIP and is two years older. I'd still take Eveland on this team and he would still be one of our top pitching prospects. He has solid stuff and he's still young and has dominated the minors. His FIP is also a very respectable 4.29. When you consider what we got for him (and Davis for that matter) you can pretty much say that it was a horrible deal as none of the players we traded for are on this team anymore, one is currently in the minors (Vargas), one is currently without a job (Estrada) and one is on the DL (Aquino). So we pretty much gave away a good major league starter, a good prospect and a has been for one year of crap.

    I've been there. It's nice for outdoor stuff but the cities (mainly Iron Mountain) suck.

    Was listening to the postgame show on WSSP this afternoon and Sparky said that when they do their usual high fives after the game Parra and Prince skipped past eachother without giving fives and then continued giving fives after they were past eachother.

    Brandon Backe sucks badly. I don't know why they made him a pitcher. Should've kept him as a SS, at least he would have the chance to be a gritty middle infielder with the chance to be adored by moronic announcers and fans everywhere.

    Cubs game on WGN. Astros fell behind 1-0 in the 2nd but the Astros got 4 in the 3rd with an RBI single by Lance Berkman followed by a 3-run homer by El Caballo.

    Yes Brian, Suppan has shown his durability. Just forget about his DL stint earlier this year.
