  1. Ya, the few times I swapped over the WGN, I happened to catch a couple of Soriano's "hopping catches" and that. Made me regret taking at peek at WGN. I haven't watched many of the Cubs games in detail, is this Soriano hop a new development? No he's done it all year. What really got me pissed/depressed was the bleacher bums doing the Tomahawk Chop when the scoreboard at Wrigley showed the Braves took the lead.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/mad.gif
  2. Wow nice answer Ned. You're in your 5th year don't you think you should be a polished major league manager? Do you even know that if a bunt foul with two strikes it's a strikeout?
  3. I would say they'll play it day by day. If we're out of it no sense in letting him pitch again this year if we're still in it I think he'll stay.
  4. I really wish Coco would've given up a run in yesterday's game instead of today. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  5. Words cannot describe how pissed off I am right now.
  6. Weren't we interested in Barrett a few years ago but he decided to go to the Cubs instead?
  7. No problem. The only reason I knew about it was from watching ESPNEWS.
  8. Drew Olson always defends him on the D-List. He gets hammered on WSSP but their signal is weak, Bill Michaels has some sort of irrational man love for him, won't even debate points, he'll just talk over the caller with the same look how much the young kids like him blah, blah, blah crap before the caller finally gets tired of it and hangs up.
  9. Thatcher took the loss in the game against the Rockies last night giving up a solo homer to Brad Hawpe. Of course his ERA is still only 1.13. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. So what you're saying is our bullpen is going to blow next year. And please don't tell me one of Melvin's nuggets will pan out and it will be fine. They better spend some money on good bullpen pitchers or this team is screwed.
  11. Christian (Chicago): What does Ned Yost have to do to get fired? Not bringing in Cordero last night was inexcusable. Keith Law: His bullpen mismanagement has been almost mclarenific.
  12. It's disgusting. Pete Mackanin did the EXACT same thing in the first game of the Cubs series. Ramirez at 3rd nobody out so he walks Darryl Ward to make it 1st and 3rd with nobody out and then pitches to Mark DeRosa. It would've served Ned right if Pence hit a slow roller along 3rd, Counsell threw home but it was late because a tag had to be applied instead of a force out.
  13. That little star thing reminds me of the Mariners. Seriously, stay with green I liked those if you want to change the logo and take out "Devil" fine but we have enough blue.
  14. Now push, keep pushing I see the head! Oh wait this should probably go in Russ' thread on the OT board.
  15. He said Bush was "gassed" after running from 1st to 3rd. Maybe he thought nobody would get a hit after Bush so he wouldn't need to be replaced.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eyes.gif
  16. I believe he's already picked out Saber Metric Luzinski. Now he just has to get the wife to go along with it.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  17. The big difference between Dusty and Ned is when Dusty was managing the Cubs the Brewers weren't fighting the Cubs for the division crown. Although I must say I loved his managing in 2003.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif
  18. The best hitter the Brewers have. Nicely played, sir.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/roll.gif
  19. That's just depressing to read. Brewers fans know he messed up, Cubs fans know he messed up but Ned can hold his head high knowing he did things his way and he tried his best.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eyes.gif
  20. You worry about that when Cordero can't pitch anymore. However if you keep trotting out Spurling, Stetter, Wise etc. without using your best option, you're going to get burned. Also what a lot of people seem to forget is you actually have to shut the other team down if you want to get to the save situation so why not go with your best pitcher to shut them down. One thing's for sure I'd feel much more comfortable with Spurling, Stetter, King, Aquino, Wise etc. in the game with a lead knowing we can give up at least one run and not lose than bringing them in with the game tied knowing if they give up a run the game is over with our best reliever still sitting in the bullpen.
  21. If you didn't move around it wouldn't sting since scorpions like dark, cool places. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/73/The_More_You_Know.jpg
  22. I'm watching Shandi, the super hot judge person in Lingo on this Play Mania thing on the Game Show Network. And watching Shandi is always a good thing.
  23. Craig Coshun: "The Brewers head to Atlanta to face the Braves who have been eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since I believe Davey Nelson was born." Really Craig? Does last year not ring a bell?
  24. Words can not describe how pissed off I am at Ned Yost. So I will use one of my favorite "words" UGH!
