    Parra was consistently in the 92-93 range with his fastball touching 95 a few times with about 10-12 94's scattered in. I like him, I don't like Vargas.

    Allen is old and oft injured? He's only 32 and a shooter he'll be good for another 3-4 years and I guess Allen being oft injured makes Redd oft injured too because Allen has played in 3 more games than Redd the past 3 years. And you want to talk about bad shots? Look no further than our very own Michael Redd who goes into double and triple teams and tries to draw fouls instead of passing out of them. Pierce also helps in rebounding, defending and passing which isn't something you can say about Redd. Pierce, Allen and Garnett have averaged 38 minutes in their entire careers. That's about 80% of the game. I'm sure Doc Rivers will find a way to keep at least one of them on the court at all times. Plus they still have the MLE to work with maybe someone like Brevin Knight or Charlie Bell. You can say that about any team. If Tim Duncan gets hurt the Spurs won't be as good. If Steve Nash gets hurt the Suns won't be as good. If Dwyane Wade gets hurt the Heat won't be very good. Point is the Celtics now have 2 superstars and another all star caliber player. All 3 of those players are better than the Bucks best player. Remember the last time Garnett actually had talent on his team (Sprewell and Cassell) that team went to the Western Conference Finals. Now he's paired with two players better than Cassell and Sprewell in a weaker conference.

    Celtics signed Garnett to a 3 year extension. Honestly who is going to beat this starting 5? Rondo Allen Pierce Garnett Perkins This conference is Boston's for a while.

    Sorry you win with superstars in this game. The Celtics now have two (and a second tier star in Allen) this is their conference for the forseeable future.

    And what about warmup pitches? And days he warms up but doesn't go into the game? I don't think you have any idea how much stress is put on a pitchers arm.

    I wouldn't be opposed to a 6 man rotation. Does anybody have any info on how 6 man rotations have worked in the past? Of course that would mean we're short a bullpen arm unless we keep 13 pitchers.

    Wow if Harrison is involved in the Tex trade then the Rangers got 3 top 100 prospects for Tex. Not a bad haul.

    Yeah how about you read the whole sentence next time. Like the last two words, right now. So losing 7 games in the division in a month is nothing to worry about. I like the idea. Obviously the pink GT's aren't working anymore so why not try this?
