  1. I think he looks a lot like this guy who is about the same age and plays the same position... http://www.marisoldiaz.com/img/david_wright_3rd1stday05_MG_7018.jpg
  2. Does anyone know how the regional coverage near the Twin Cities in Wisconsin is going to work for FOX today? I'm afraid that the Twins are going to be on and I won't be able to watch the Brewers at all. Let's CRUSH em today!
  3. now we get to root for Yi and Yo! I didn't think the Bucks would pick him after he refused to work out with them, but apparently Harris knew that Yi would end up accepting where he landed. I wanted Conley, and once he was gone I was rooting for Brewer, but I can see how Yi ended up being the pick. Either way I think we just increased our fan base a bit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. Manniy Para SHOOD be are numbre 1 strater. . Shiets shoud be tarded for Kent Hberk, we hav a big hoel at frist bass Sheest is alawys hert not an ase anywya.
  5. Wow, perfect-o! Congrats Manny! Things could look very, very awesome in the rotation very soon.
  6. Prince, you are truly the king. And Turnbow, I'll still take you as our set-up man any day. And now Billy stays hot! This is a fun team to watch right now. EDIT: WTG Estrada!
  7. Replacing Mo Williams with Mike Conley = spinning wheels. Basically if Mike Conley can score 17 points, dish out 6 assists, and pull down 5 rebounds a game at age 24, he'd be labelled a success....why wait for Conley to get to the level Mo Williams has already risen to? I disagree with this. I see Conley's ceiling closer to Nash than Mo Williams. A guy that is quicker than everyone else in the league can dominate in today's NBA (Nash, Parker), plus he adds a nice outside shot. I'd like to see him drop to us, but would be satisfied with a few others.
  8. That mock draft now has Boston taking Brewer at 5, and Milwaukee taking Conley at 6, which I am SO cool with. I am not on the resign-Mo-to-a-four-year-deal bandwagon, he's a decent player, he just isn't going to lead anybody anywhere anytime soon and the Bucks have a good enough nucleus to be contenders. We need a guy to make them all look good instead of all of them struggling to make themselves look good.
  9. "Quit crying over Panda Bear or whatever her name was... oh my God, he's crying!" Hilarious show. Gotta love Seth Green and Breckin Meyer.
  10. much like Frampton, the Brewer offense comes alive.
  11. Awesome to see YoGa's face on MLB.com's Gameday. Good luck tonight Yo and welcome to the bigs! Go Crew!
  12. Hall was standing about 6 feet from home plate on the 1st base side when that ball landed just foul, and the ball hung in the air for several seconds. I don't know if he just lost the ball or was convinced it was going foul, but that struck me as odd. I have no problem with a guy watching a ball he knows is gone. If you're really great at something, you tend to bask in your successes at least for a brief moment, which seems to just be human nature.
  13. Great game to be at last night. There were lots of Brewer fans near us and the place was loud after Jenks' GS. I'll be there again tonight, hopefully we can get one of the next two to take two straight road series against tough AL opponents. We may see some of you downtown before or after the game...
  14. I'll be there tonight and around the Dome all weekend. I was really shocked that we took two from Detroit, let's do it to Minny! FWIW, Corey Hart now has a higher season OPS than JJ Hardy.
  15. We just took 2 of 3 from the AL champs on their turf. If you can't find a silver lining out of that... I don't know, become a Yankee fan?
  16. Let's score one more run and give up no more. Please.
  17. Has been said already and I hardly ever question Ned, but dang, what is he thinking with this lineup? The two worst hitters in the lineup are the two hitting at the top. I don't mind one of the two hitting second, but bat Hart or Gross leadoff.
  18. I'll take Soundgarden. I like both bands, but Soundgarden has more songs that I really listen to a lot. "Fell on Black Days" and "Burden in my Hand" are two of my favorite songs. I also like Soundgarden's instrumentation/tones more than the whole "Wall of Sound" thing with the Smashing Pumpkins, but then I take more of my influence from punk/grunge than alternative.
  19. Oops, wild pitch by Dumpster to give up the go-ahead run to Atlanta. Ah shucks.
  20. Hardy is a good 2 hole hitter even without the power. He can go the other way as good as anyone on the team and he makes a lot of contact. I have a hard time believing the power he showed early in the year is just going to evaporate.
  21. WTG Estrada, we really, really needed that hit.

  23. yep, you're right, except they have the comma after "works". For some reason I always remember it the other way around, probably because the way he actually says it makes even less sense http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif link
  24. sorry, don't want to be mean or anything but... 75% of the time being automatic. "Works 60% of the time, every time."
  25. nice insurance run there, wtg Braun-Y and Hart!
