  1. I don't hate the move, but like all things, the devil is in the details. I wouldn't be for it if the brewers have to give a top prospect or have to guarantee his 2016 vesting option.
  2. My prediction is that Ziggler wins it, I think with last years being so predictable they have to make it a surprise, Ziggler turns heel and faces Cena at Wrestlemania.
  3. pretty sure this new guy was brought in to replace Uecker once he is done broadcasting.
  4. I doubt it. I am sure he is making more money working full time at a yearlong network gig, rather than 7 months doing brewers AM radio.
  5. I really liked Hamilton and Block as a team, but understand that Hamilton is going to leave a year long network gig to do brewers radio full time. I think Block has gotten better as time goes on, and don't mind him anymore. The new guys background sounds very similar to Block's. The issue I have is that the days of having a brewer in the broadcast booth will be over once Uecker hangs it up for good. You have a dodger and a red sox guy. Whats enduring about Schroeder and Uecker is that they have been in Milwaukee forever and know the history of the team. They have been through the ups and downs and can put current events in prospective. This is important. Block is learning and the new guy known nothing. I wish the team could have found someone from the past instead of finding a guy from Boston.
  6. includes invite to spring training. hopefully they bring in more than him to complete for the swing man role http://www.brewcrewball.com/2015/1/21/7866217/brewers-sign-dontrelle-willis-to-minor-league-deal
  7. Great main event on RAW tonight. Sting returns and Ziggler, Ryback and Rowen get their jobs back. Will make for a very interesting Royal Rumble. ----- Continued from: viewtopic.php?p=927199#p927199 Original Lead: viewtopic.php?t=25550
  8. From baseball america in 2013: Diplan, 16, is 5-foot-10, 160 pounds and has one of the best fastballs on the international market while also showing a curveball with good depth and a changeup that already flashes average. He played in the Dominican Prospect League and trains with former major league outfielder Luis Polonia. Looks like he is the key to the deal, the other 2 don't do much to impress me
  9. mine is pretty simple, field of dreams is my favorite baseball movie, and I traditionally watch it each year on Opening Day Eve
  10. brewers released their 12 designs to narrow down to 7. I do like the mid-90's logo one and the black one. The rest look like tshirts that you can pick up anywhere. http://brewers.mlblogs.com/2015/01/12/voting-begins-for-t-shirt-fridays-fans-to-select-7-t-shirt-fridays/
  11. they key word is 2000 draft, but I understand that Martin is Kidd's ex-teammate and he has earned the right to be trusted, but the question is what the heck is Hammnod doing these days, this is a very un-John Hammond move.
  12. Seems silly that you aren't allowed to demote someone to the NBDL or put someone on IR to clear up a roster spot when you are in the situation that the bucks are in.
  13. or could have something to do with the 20 point lead they had. He played a lot last season, teams have film and know what he can do.
  14. Bucks to sign Martin to a 10 day deal, which isn't really the story. The roster is at 15, so a corresponding move has to be made. This article suggester releasing Inglis or Wolters. I would hate to see Inglis released since we took him over KJ McDaniels or Joe Harris. Wolters is just a guy so wouldn't bother me. http://www.hoopsrumors.com/2015/01/bucks-kenyon-martin-deal.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook Edit: bucks are expected to waive Wolters
  15. Sanders stopped hustling after he got paid. I think that the team had a players only meeting to call out Sanders about a week ago. He left the team after that, with the excuse that he has the flu.
  16. Gery Woelfel is reporting Larry Sanders has told the Bucks he no longer wants to play basketball. Sanders, 26, is in the first year of a four-year, $44 million contract extension. He hasn't played in the last six games. On Friday Bucks head coach Jason Kidd said Sanders had the flu him retiring would be the best thing that could happen to the bucks
  17. I usually ensure that I get a top flight QB and then 2 quality RB's. WR's seem to be more hit or miss, but RB's will atleast get their carries no matter what.
  18. those that live in Milwaukee, radio milwaukee (88.9) is doing their annual countdown of the top 100 albums of 2014 tomorrow. Its always very interesting to listen to. My guess is that Field Report (local band), Sylvan Esso, or War on Drugs will take the crown.
  19. big 10 is pretty bare this year. Alot of teams are disappointing through pre-conference play.
  20. I use Fan Duel for NBA and NFL. I have no strategy to share unfortunately. Never was anywhere close to winning more than a few bucks and that happens very rarely. They are fun, but they are not anything you want to do every day or you will end up in the poor house unless you follow sports very closely. I guess like most things, they are good in moderation.
  21. It was very flat. When new people debut on the main roster, its always weeks of squash matches. It makes no sense. Alot of fans have seen them on NXT work great matches and then they come in for a 2 minute debut match that really shows nothing. Not too happy about the authority returning, its going to be the same garbage that we saw all summer and fall. Cena and Bryan are going to be in handicap matches for the foreseeable future. ----- Continued here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=32316
  22. pretty big raw tonight, so i am bumping this. Daniel Bryan is scheduled to make a big announcement (http://www.sescoops.com/daniel-bryan-address-major-crossroads-life-tonight-raw/) "Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life and I’ve come to mine. I look forward to telling you all about it tonight on #Raw." wonder if he is done. Also looking forward to the debut of the Ascension. The tag team division has been very weak of late and I think they could add some life to it.
  23. they had no triple A outfielders, thats all this is.
  24. if the bucks do plan on changing their logo after the season, i hope that this isn't a trend http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2305422-toronto-raptors-unveil-new-logo-hint-at-new-color-scheme?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national new raptors logo is identical to the nets. really not a fan of black and white.
  25. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2014/12/pirates-sign-corey-hart.html solid signing by pittsburgh if he can stay healthy, decent platoon partner with Alvarez
