  1. i think you are right with around 30. Parker is playing as well as I have expected. I didn't account for Mayo having a great preseason. If Sanders can return to form from 2 seasons ago, they could fight for the 7th or 8th seed. Either way this team will be fun to watch. I think with Kohl gone, the team has chagned stragetgy from having to make the playoffs, to simply trying to be good in a few season which is all bucks fans wanted.
  2. guesses for Team Cena vs Team Authority Authority = Kane, Rollins, Triple H, Gold and Stardust Cena = Ziggler, Cena, Orton, Usos
  3. super interesting tidbit regarding the future location of the bucks arena, http://www.jrn.com/wtmj/wi-sports/milwaukee-bucks/Did-Bucks-buy-Shops-of-Grand-Avenue-Mall-280661282.html?lc=Smart there is a rumor that the bucks owners bought the grand avenue mall. Personally i think this location is a mistake. That area of Wisconsin avenue is DEAD, adding an arena there to try to stimulate it is a bad idea. Everything is going on east of the river, and if Miller Park area isn't an option, I'd rather have it east of the river. This is similar to the White Sox building their new stadium nextto the old Comisky, and it has done nothing for that area.
  4. I was half watching HIAC last night while having the packers game on, but i thought the PPV was very good. Probably the PPV of the year. the only think that irks me is that ruined a great match with Wyatt's superhuman garbage. Wyatt is a fascinating character, but the days are past of having characters with magical powers. I would have rather seen a clean finish and then let Wyatt go in the cage normally and started his fued with Ambrose.
  5. anyone else feel that he is going to take the year off, work for ESPN or MLBN and realize he can get any job he wants in 2016.
  6. interesting that it was a 1 year deal. I'm sure it was just to coincide with RRR's expiring contract, but interesting that he took that little job security.
  7. I always thought that he would be going to Duke or Wisconsin. I will be honest that I follow MU recruits much closer than UW. Any news on Malik Newman, I heard that they were a package deal. Has he been recruited by any of these schools. I did read that he was thought to be going to Kentucky, which may mean that the reports a few months back were just wrong.
  8. good find WTP, I hope that the brewers go outside the organization for this hire. While I think Seid did a better job that he gets credit for, the brewers minor league system has not produced the quality of big leaguers that they did under Jack Z. Its time for a fresh approach to drafting and developing players.
  9. i went to the pettis - henderson fight last summer at the BC. We sat in the upper deck in the corner. I didn't think the seats were that bad and could see the action well. My guess would be the best value for the money would be higher up on the lower deck. I can't imagine that the view would be all that great on the floor since you are lower than the cage, but you would have to ask someone that actually sat there.
  10. Eddie has survived because he is Doug's eyes and ears on the coaching staff. its my only explanation. (this is unfounded ofcourse, just a theory)
  11. Narron had to go, i am fine with that, would have gotten rid of sedar and iorg, if ron was staying.
  12. ESPN reporting that Henry Ellenson will play at Marquette!
  13. anyone else find it odd that the bucks hired a team president from New York, who will play a huge role in the selection of location for a new arena. This is an important decision and I would feel better if someone that knew the city was making it. It seems like just about all of the key front office personal are out of staters. Hopefully they still will get imput from key local people.
  14. it was noted that it was around midterms, maybe he wasn't making the grade.
  15. Gabe Levin has decided to transfer from Marquette already. Seems very odd since he just transferred from Loyola Marymount. I am sure there is more to the story, either he wasn't a fan of Wojo's practice style, or he quickly figured out his playing time would be limited next season once he is eligible. very strange
  16. for a minute yesterday I thought that the Rock was going to fight Rusov at HIAC, but it looks like yesterday was just a one-off. If Ambrose wasn't around the WWE would be completely unwatchable these days, and having the Rock around for even 2 weeks would be awesome. Between the bellas, Rusov fighting a new all american each month, the gator vs the bunny, and the authority continuing the crush people, there isn't anything new and exciting these days. I will admit though that NXT makes up for the dullness of the main roster these days.
  17. I stopped watching ESPN for anything but live sports years ago. We all know they are biased towards large markets for ratings purposes and they put up a bunch of hot air balloons to sit and manufacture arguments. Its the same problem I have with sports talk in general, they take hot button issues (ray rice etc) and run them into the ground way past the point where there is nothing to say.
  18. if there was a hypothetical expansion team would they really draft a player like Braun? Every team has a few players that are under performing and overpaid, and drafting them would probably make you a .500 team with a huge payroll. I think its much smarter to try to build through the draft. Its a new team in a new city, people will show up. You don't need to win right away.
  19. I haven't decided on getting the note 4 or iphone 6 plus in May. The one thing I agree on is memory. The last ios update took over 5 GB of memory which made me have to clear stuff off of my phone just to do the update. The larger memory iphone 6 plus runs 400 dollars which is more than I would want to spend on a phone. (not that 300 is that much better).
  20. I don't think Gallardo could be drafted, he has an option for next year. Lohse and Garza are tough ones. I protected Lohse has he has the shorter contract and pitched better for us this season.
  21. Honestly, going through this exercise shows me just how bleak (at the moment) our future is. Its hard to come up with 15 I would protect, couldn't even come up with 6 additional. anyway I would protect: 1) Fiers 2) Lohse 3) Nelson 4) Peralta 5) Smith 6) Lucroy 7) Gennett 8) Segura 9) Gomez 10) Roache 11) Tyrone Taylor 12) Coulter 13) Wang 14) Parra 15) Davis
  22. Night of Champions Tonight, looses a little luster with Roman Reigns out for 4-6 weeks with a hernia. Was looking forward to him facing Rollins. I wonder if there will be a filler to fill the time or will matches just be extended. Prediction time Cena beats Lesnar, Rollins cashes his breifcase Cesaro beats Sheamus The Miz beats Dolph Aj beats Nikki / Paige with some help from Brie Mark Henry beats Rusov, match will not end clean though Uso beats Gold / Stardust Orton beats Jericho
  23. hopefully the brewers only sign for 2 seasons and try to renegotiate after 2016.
  24. Honestly if you are a minor league team, would you rather have the brewers or Astros? The Astros have the top system in baseball and the brewers are near the bottom. I have a feel the brewers will get the Astros scraps.
  25. by all accounts the brewers would have wanted to change affiliation with Albuquerque, because they have the same owners as the new Biloxi franchise. This is no longer possible as they have already gotten affiliation for 2015. Nashville obviously has don't nothing wrong, but they really did not do the brewers right after a 12 year partnership when Nashville was maybe the least desirable triple a franchise.
